Doughnuts and Rooftops
Mike sat in his room of the place him and his band mates shared. He flicked lazily through a magazine. Suddenly there was a loud thumping sound coming from above.
"Billie! Billie Joe! BILLIY!" he shouted
"Yes, what?" Billie stormed into the room with song-writing notebook and pen in hand.
"Where's Tré?" Mike asked, placing down his copy of Kerrang.
"How should I know? It's your turn to watch him."
"No it isn't, it's your turn"
They exchanged looks and the thumping sound from above returned. Without any exchange of words they both dashed out of the room into the kitchen.
"Oh god." Said Billie as he saw an open box of doughnuts with one missing.
"Shit! I bet he's on the roof again. I'll get The Stick." Said a worried Mike and produced from nowhere a long wooden stick. Billie opened the fridge and pulled out a bottle of 'medication'. He removed some of the blue and white capsules and inserted them into a doughnut.
"Lets do this then. I have the tranquiliser filled doughnut. Good luck out there." Said Billie in a way that would suggest they were about to enter battle and may never see each other alive again.
"Ok. The Stick is primed." Said Mike.
They embarked on their mission out into the back garden. Sure enough, Tré was sitting on the roof.
"Tré, come down." Called Billie, sweetly.
"Get your ass down here. Don't make me use The Stick!" Mike yelled angrily.
"Not helping. You gotta coax him down." Billie whispered. "c'mon Tré. Do you want another doughnut?" he waved the sugary treat in the air.
"Does it have rainbow sprinkles?" Tré asked in a sing-song voice.
"Yeees" replied Billie.
"Yay!" and with that, Tré executed a perfect summersault off the roof into a perfect landing on the lawn. He eyed the doughnut. When Billie handed it to him he grabbed it and ate it in almost one bite.
Tré's eyes then went wide and the pupils dilated as he flopped onto the floor, unconscious.
"Nice one" said Mike to Billie. He picked up Tré by the ankles and dragged him inside
