Annabeth stood on Half-Blood hill watching the fireworks go off. Heracles was wrestling the Nemean Lion. Two huntresses ran across the sky their bows stretched. A tribute to all Hunters lost in the war. A trident light up the air, for Percy.

"Beautiful." A familiar voice whispered in her ear.

"I've never really cared for fireworks. Scared the Hades out of me when I was little, Percy." Annabeth replied.

"I wasn't talking about that, I was talking about you" Percy said.

Percy leaned down and as their lips met in a passionate kiss a red firework heart exploded behind them.

Just a drabble I thought of while watching my neighbors, the Ruths, shoot fireworks.
