As big of a Miraculous Ladybug fan as I am, like Marinette, I have a big imagination at times. that being said, I always think about the different possibilities that a reveal could happen and what the possible outcomes could be. I'm in a ML roleplay server on Discord and have seen a lot of different things. I've even rped some scenarios I thought of. One of those started originally as a fanfic idea but because i couldn't get the ideas sorted, I turned it into an rp. 5 months later, the rp is still going but I have a better idea as to how I want to approach this reveal/post-reveal fic.

Four years into the fight and the war was at a stalemate. Hawk Moth's relentless desire for the ladybug and cat miraculouses hadn't wavered. He was no where near getting them. Ladybug and Chat Noir had gained new powers (albeit temporary ones) and allies but they weren't any closer to discovering who their enemy was or his true motive for why he was obsessed with their miraculouses.

Amidst the almost weekly akumas (and exhaustion that cane with it), Paris always thanked its heroes. The Heroes Day parade was a hit in the spring but for many, the important event took place in the fall. Having begun on the one year anniversary of Ladybug and Chat's arrival, the City of Lights has held a festival and ball to honor the duo. if the heroes had their way, they would have preferred not to attend and go about their usual day... but when the Mayor's daughter was known as a comrade of Ladybug and Chat, in addition to being a big fan, it was hard to say no.

Four years of fighting and the 3rd annual festival was arriving in a matter of days. Marinette had no qualms about the celebrations. What was eating at her was that she was about to break her biggest rule, the biggest taboo that Tikki insisted could hurt her if she didn't wait until after Hawk Moth was defeated.

Adrien on the other hand was looking forward to the festivities. The day he got Plagg was the day he got freedom. Sure the price meant saving people and fighting ridiculous villains but he wouldn't trade it for anything. This year was no exception, it was the one time of the year he could dance with his Lady and be close without her getting mad too much. When you're waiting for the love of your life to reciprocate your feelings, any excuse to see her worked.

Little did either one know what would await them this upcoming year.
