Only Seven
(I own nothing)
Only seven people gathered in the circle. This group consisted of an inventor, a medic, two warriors, a tactician, one music lover, a spy, and a writer. Their purpose here was to share secret information to weaken the enemy. The spy was the one to sneak into the base along with music lover. The writer was here to record the encounter that was to happen at this moment of time in this era.
The warriors fiercer than any other, that appeared on a battle field as masses of destruction, were here to protect the medic and inventor. The medicwas here to fix any wounds that the spy or music lover have at the time. The inventor was here to speak about an invention he was working on that had not blown up in his face at all and was ready to activate it when the command is given. Most of the team still worried it might not work at all but they had faith in the inventor during this hard time in war. The spy spoke up.
"There have been signs of a project happening in the base. A big one too. We might have some harder times then before very soon." He said in almost a whisper
"This project must be a big one if it is being this well protected from our side." Says the tactician, face neutral
"It be alright. Never hav' ah seen 'em so quie'," says the Music lover, accent coming in.
The writer jostlesd down notes but the small group heard nothing.
"Does any of you have any wounds so I can attend to them." Asks the medic grumpily
The two both say no that none have any wounds and the medic grumbled that why did have to be here and more. Snickers are heard from one of the warriors. The inventor cleared his throat to get attention. He spoke of a new invention that maybe could weaken the enemy. The scientist and the inventor had worked on this project for weeks and had already tested it out.
The group finally ended the discussion. No words were said as each one went there separate ways. Some went in pairs or trios. Some went alone and into the war torn city they call home. Only one stays behind for intruders and this one was the sneaky music lover. The writer closed the notebook and stood up from the spot they were hiding in.
Exposing their spot the music lover looked at them with surprise. The writer just pulled out a small remote and pressed a button that activated a small portal. Just before the writer enters they turn around look at the music lover and say one thing.
"Till I finish my book you must continue this hard core and heart wrenching war. Till then I hope to see you again."
The writer was gone and was never seen again till ages to come forth.
