AN: This song is parody to "Let It Go" sung by Idina Menzel as Elsa in Frozen. Thanks to DreamStar14 for allowing me to post this. This is based on her story "Top of the World", which I recommend you check out!. The song itself is my take on how Emily feels throughout the story. Hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think!

Disclaimer: I don't own Frozen or "Let It Go" it belongs to Disney. "Top of the World" belongs to DreamStar14.

The river flows red through the Gaps tonight
Not a person is safe
A Master is returning, and it looks like I'm the key
My birthmarks are burning like the raging battle inside
Couldn't keep it in; Heaven knows I tried

Don't let them in, don't let them see
Hide who I really am supposed to be
Conceal, don't show, don't let them know
Well now they know

Let it go, let it go
I cannot hide it anymore
Forget it all, forget it all
Turn away and surrender no more
I don't care what they're going to say
Let the fight go on
The Nighlok don't own me anyway

It's funny how the distance makes everyone care more
And the fears that once controlled me don't know what's in store
It's time to see what I can do
To save the world and fight with you
No right, no wrong, no rules for me, I'm free!

Let it go, let it go
I am one with the earth
Forget it all, forget it all
You'll never see how much it hurts
To see you stand
But here I'll stay
Let the battle go on

The power surges through me into the ground
My soul is spiraling, I won't give in any way
And one thought comes to me- I'll remember my friends
I'm never going back, the past is in the past

Let it go, let it go
And I'll rise like the break of dawn
Forget it all, forget it all
The portal… she is gone
Here I stand
In the light of hope
Let the fight go on
The Nighlok don't know me anyway

AN: What's you think? Let men know in a PM or a review. I'm still working on "Symbol Reflections" trying to find the right way to wrap up the little arc that is going in right now. If you haven't watched Frozen, then you might not be aware that there are two versions of "Let It Go"- the original sung in the movie (which is this one) and the cover by Demi Lovato. Demi's cover has altered lyrics and since that's a different version, I plan on posting that on "Red" soon.
