I look at the dementor taking a prisoner. I don't react, too used to it to have emotions about it.
I turn my head and watch the moon shining beautifully. I miss the world out there. The grass, the water, the animals, the trees, the flowers even the cities. I miss my friends.
A tear roll on my cheek.
James. Lily. I miss them so much. They were the most wonderful persons I knew and He took them away from me, from us, from this world. I will kill Peter for what he did! That's a promise.
I miss Remus, my only friend still alive. Well he is my friend for me but for him I'm certainly just a traitor, a murderer. I want to see him again and explain it all. Tell him that it wasn't me, that I'm not a traitor or a murderer. I love them, all three of them. I could never do that. But because of the real traitor, Peter, I'm here, going insane while my friend and everyone else think I betrayed James and Lily.
I miss my daughter too. She was so cute the last time I saw her. At least I know she's happy with Remus.
I hear someone breathing next to me. I turn my head and jump of fright.
Next to me are seated a black dog, or a grim, and a wolf. Suddenly, the wolf and the dog turn into humans.
Animagi.
The wolf changes into a little girl with red wavy hair, porcelain skin and blue-purple eyes. The dog changes into a little girl too, with brown curly hair and blue-grey eyes.
My eyes widen when I recognize them.
"Hazel, Onix?" I whisper, not believing my eyes.
"Daddy!" exclaims Onix, hugging me.
"Uncle Sirius!" exclaims Hazel, hugging me too.
I smile, my first real smile since I went in Azkaban, and hug them back.
"We missed you." murmurs my daughter.
I smile.
"I missed you both too."
The six years old girls smile up at me, each missing two teeth. They're adorable.
"How did you become animagi?" I ask bewildered.
"With books!" says proudly Onix.
I ruffle her hair.
"You're the best."
They giggle and cuddle to me. I sigh, content. My little girls are here with me. They still love me.
"How come you don't hate me?" I ask.
They look at me with big but not so innocent eyes. They should be more innocent.
"We know you didn't kill my parents. We're sure of it." says Hazel.
"And we gonna help you get outta there!" exclaims Onix.
I smile. With those two I have a chance to get out of here. I have a chance to proove my innocence. I have a chance to kill Peter. I have a chance to see the world. I have a chance to see my friends. I have a chance to see Remus. I have a chance to see my Godson. I have a chance to live with my daughter and Hazel and Harry, the twins. I have a chance to repair things, to start a new life.
A second chance.
"Until we get you out, we will come to visit you once a month." says Hazel.
My tears well up with tears. She's so much like her dad. Intelligent, brave and I can see the same playful glint in her eyes. She's like Lily too. So selfless, kind and I can see her temper too. The redhead temper, like we liked to call it, us, the marauders.
I can see my daughter got my look and my personality. If she was a boy we wouldn't see a difference between us. She will become a beautiful and kind woman, one day.
I watch both girls, grinning widely.
I won't be alone anymore. My little girls will come to visit me. This is just the first visit of many others.
