"Hey. Hey. HEY!"
"What the-ahh!" That was the start of my graceful day…me falling out of bed. Grrrrreeeaaatt. I looked up to see who the Hades I would have to kill for waking me up. I mean seriously, why the HERMES cabin, it could be anyone!
"You shouldn't hav-"hmm…it was Nico di Angelo, son of Hades. I guess I don't necessarily have to kill him today.
"I'm sorry what was that?" Okay now I was ready to punch him in his hot emo face, but then he just had to do the Zach Goode like smirk he had picked up since I came. "Look I just came to tell you…happy birthday. And you're late for breakfast."
By the time I had gotten my breakfast of cold pasta and sacrificed I was still shocked that Nico remembered it was my birthday today and I hadn't. What is even sadder is that I'm the one with the crush on him and I don't even know his birthday, then again, he might not either. I looked around the Hermes table. Connor, Travis, kid-i-don't-know, other-kid-i-don't-know, and yet another kid-i-don't-know. Lovely.
You may want to know a little about me. My name is Rhapsody, I am the one and only daughter of little known goddess Rhapso. Mom's name means something having to do with sewing. I am about 5'2, jet-black-and-hot-pink streaked hair, and hazel eyes. I was currently wearing my signature white patched-up jeans, hand-made black tank, and zebra-print-duct-taped flip-flops. I go year round at Camp Half-Blood. Yeah, you heard me, half-blood, did having a GODDESS as a MOM not give it away?
Chiron stood up and said the world I had wanted to hear since I came here. "There is a god visiting. And for one of you in particular."
