The Genin 15 (Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Hinata, Kiba, Shino, Shikamaru, Choji, Ino, Lee, Neji, Tenten, Gaara, Temari and Kankuro) were sitting in a training field, taking a break from the workout session they had had on a whim.
They began chatting and one thing led to another and next thing they knew, they were talking about their experiences kissing.
This is why Naruto was upset. Everyone had always hated him, so he had never kissed anyone before.
What was especially depressing was that even Gaara had kissed before. Some girl named Matsuri.
Just as Sakura and Ino started pressing him about it, he suddenly yelled, "I haven't kissed anyone, okay!? Who wants to kiss a demon boy?"
Noticing Gaara was about to speak, he continued, "Shut up! I don't give a fuck about Matsuri! I was always hated, not feared! Who would want to kiss me?" His voice quieted as he began walking away.
The utter silence that surrounded them allowed him to hear two little words. Words barely spoken, so that even Kiba could not hear them. But Naruto, with demon enhanced hearing, did.
Hinata had whispered, "… I do…"
And kiss they did. For hours and hours.
