A/N : I thought it would be fun to make another SuperGirl fanfiction even though I'm already writing one! This is my first time managing two stories in the same fandom so wish me luck~ I love giving Lena powers just cause, though this time she won't know how to control it. Lots of angst and death like usual.

Summary: When you fear for your life you fight until your last breath to stay alive. Something deep inside Lena unleashed when she was being attacked by the one person she thought was meant to protect her. She loses herself to the void of her mind, the only thing that she thought before losing conciseness. Survive!

The young brunette looked up to the bright sunset as she gather wood she bundles them in her arms and travels back to her village. There are some older people walking around some greeted her with a nod or a small wave. She gives a smile to them as she goes to her destination, Her home shared with her mother.

When she opens the tent flap and sets down the wood going to her mother's bed side.

"How are you feeling, Mama?"

"I'm feeling fine Lena, I see you have gotten some wood again." The older woman coughs slightly. "Sorry I don't have energy to help you with the hard chores."

Lena smiles to her mother turning around as she goes to the fire pit to put the wood in it.

"It's fine, Mama, just concentrate on getting better."

The woman frowns as she tastes the blood in her mouth she quickly wipes it away before Lena can notice.

After Lena starts the fire, starts the work of making the food, She is determined to make sure her Mama gets better.

Smiling at her child's efforts to help her, she sits up to re-read the letter that the man she loathes sent,

Dear Lesane

I know you don't have much time left, Lesane. When the time comes I will raise Lena in your place. I hope you didn't raise her to be a complete joke, you and I both know you can't escape the Luthor's shadow.

Lionel Luthor

Anger flashes through her but she knew he was right she sighs and tucks the letter under her pillow.

When she dies she prays the Gods will watch over Lena even if she won't be able to.
