Family

"Mama!" yells Lilly as she runs down the stairs. She is being pursued by her older brother James on his kiddie broom stick.

"What sweety?" Ginny hugs her five year old daughter, then see's her eight year old son fly into the kitchen where the young girl clutches her mother and screaming that if you have mom you can't be tagged.

"What!? That's no fair!" James halts on his broomstick and dismounts, "It's not even a rule!"

"Well now it is," Lilly sticks her tongue out at James.

"Fine but you can only be there for ten seconds then I can tag you." he gets back on his broom ready to tag.

Ginny watches this with interest, then says, " I think you should play tag outside, you might break something on that broom of yours." But, her statement is for not because by then children have run off yelling and laughing.

In the living room, Albus tinkers with some muggle items that his grandfather, Mr Weasley, had given him. While he does does this on the living room floor, his 'brother' ( I guess you could say that) Teddy Lupin sits reading on the couch. He is fifteen now and still lives with the Potters in Godric's Hallow.

Harry works in the pensive room going through old memories, feeling guilty that is children, besides Teddy, don't know who he was. Years back, when James was a baby, he and Ginny had decided to not tell their children about Harry's fame. They told teddy not to tell them either, he was seven when this agreement happened but still didn't understand how his parents had died. later, when he was ten, Harry and Ginny told him what had happened and he understood.

Teddy had lived with his grandparents until the time came where Harry, his godfather, was able and ready to take care of him. Harry later married Ginny when Teddy was four. After that the Potter family came up and Teddy went to Hogwarts to learn magic. He had a family and a home that he knew he could always come back to if he needed anything.

The two children come running through the living room and almost crush many of the objects that Albus has laid out on the floor. This causes Albus to join in the fun and play tag with his brother and sister.

"Go somewhere else, will you?" the disgruntled teen groans at the children as they chase eachother around the coffee table, "You've disrupted my reading."

"You sound like dad, Teddy. Are you sure you two haven't switched bodies?" James teases.

Teddy gets up and chases the kids outside into the summer air, joining in the game, but ultimately winning due to his stature. Ginny and Harry watch from the dining room window and smile at the family they have.

This is just something I thought up. I love epilogues, and this is kinda between the epilogue and the end of The Deathly Hallows in the Harry Potter series.

More like Fifteen Years Later.
