(A/N: Yesterday I was listening to the band Paramore. One of their songs, called "For a Pessimist I'm Pretty Optimistic," is Boq and Nessa's song. Seriously, it's so close to their story, I almost screamed while listening to it. But this story was inspired by "Shattered (Turn the Car Around)" by O.A.R. Enjoy!)
Shattered
Boq wasn't sure why he kept returning to Nessa every time he tried to leave.
He didn't love her. He didn't he didn't he didn't.
So why couldn't he leave her?
Every time he tried to leave, Boq would see Nessa frantically searching for him, calling out his name, having no one to help her.
Even though Boq wasn't very fond of Nessa, he had always been taught to help people who need help. Nessa was in a wheelchair, she obviously needed help.
That's what he told himself, anyways.
But deep inside him, Boq knows that he comes back because every time he sees the vision of the lonely, shattered Nessa, a piece of his heart breaks off.
(A/N: Reviews are love!)
