This is in the voice of 12 after he has lost Clara. This is set after he forgets her, but not really. We saw him remembering things about her- details, events, etc. Even her name! Just not really who she was (to him) exactly.
This is a bit OOC and yes.. a bit Whouffaldi... Sorry (not sorry) ;) haha!
So, without further ado, a poem i wrote immediately after watching last week's episode. :'(
I Think That I've Lost Something

I think that I've lost something vital
but I'm not quite sure what- or Who
Whatever it was must be big,
for the hole in my heart is huge.
...
I think that I've lost something lovely
I wake in the night from my dreams,
It's the sole thing I think of when sleeping
The one single thing- so It seems.

I think that I lost something I loved
When I wake in the night, I've been crying,
I can never remember what it is,
But I'll never give up on Trying.

For I know that I lost someone close to me
I can even remember her name.
She was brave and loyal and true to me
and She kept me in check and sane.

I know that I've lost someone dear to me
And I'm not even sure if she's died
but I know that she'd never abandon me
Cause I remember she held me and cried
...
I know that I've lost my Companion.
Four Billion Years is hard to miss
My last memory: Her smile…
I might've forgotten a Kiss.

But I'll never forget the aura
of my brilliant, my clever, my carer
