Just a short poem inspired by M.J Lyte's Don't Forget To Heal. It's not centered on HoO (My otherfandoms need some love too.)
More on YJ COMICS. I'm in love.
(That's why it's part of my Seven Fears Challenge (made it up XD))
Disclaimer:
"All I claim is the poem," Louise said as she lounged back on the fluffiest storybags both ever created. "I don't mention any heroes in this one so... why is there even a disclaimer? It's a tribute."
Louise stared at the screen, twirling a pen in her fingers (and miserably failing). "Fine. It's a tribute. I don't own any heroes I'm tributing to, but I own the poem."
A hero doesn't have to be a work of art,
Just have a heart.
A hero doesn't mean you're rare,
Just to care.
A hero doesn't have to fly,
To know what's wrong in life.
A hero doesn't need to be special too,
Just be someone who knows what to do.
A hero doesn't need to wear a costume,
Nor get powers from drinking a serum.
A hero doesn't need powers,
Just to stand up and fight for others.
A hero knows how hard it is to fight.
To solve problems, swallow fears and hold on tight.
A hero knows what it's like,
To work hard every day and night.
A hero isn't all about being nice.
It's about learning how to sacrifice.
A hero isn't all about being strong and buff.
It's about hanging on when the road gets rough.
A hero isn't based by his great might.
It's based by knowing what's right.
A hero is someone who can uphold values.
Someone who saves the day by following the rules.
A hero is somebody brave enough.
To face the fact that life IS tough.
Because in the end, when down goes the sun,
We'll all look back and remember what you've done.
For the hero the world never knew.
For a hero just like you.
Next time I'll post is probably next week(?) I dunno. School sucks.
Leave a review? I need some encouragement as I write my Seven Fears Challenge (multi-fandom).
Thanks for reading my awful poetry XD
