This is for the challenge 'Hermione Did What?'
"Mum, you need to help me." Ron moaned as he walked into the living room with Hermione limping by his side. "She's had to much alcohol."
"Ok, walk her to the couch, dear." Molly replied as she set the book she was reading down onto the coffee table.
"Do you know how hard it was getting her here?" Ron whined as he helped Hermione wobble across the room and sit down, Molly following close behind.
"Oh hush up you." Molly ordered as her maternal instincts kicked in, "You could have easily picked her up."
"I didn't want to hurt her." He replied sheepishly, turning bright red to match his vibrant hair.
"I doubt she'll remember if you hurt her or not." Molly teased as she turned around and patted Ron's cheek affectionately. "Now go get her something to change into."
"Ok." He grumbled as he reluctantly walked out of the room.
"It's Snape on a unicycle!" Hermione yelled as she watched Ron exit the room, pointing at him the whole time.
"No, sweetheart, that's Ron." Molly replied as she levitated a washcloth from upstairs. "Stay here while I go get wet this, k?" She added, getting a nod in response.
"Mum." Ron yelled when he walked back into the room with a Halloween costume in his hands and noticed that his mum wasn't there. "'Mione, where's my mum?" He added as he looked at the laughing Hermione.
"She's in there." Hermione stuttered as she pointed upstairs.
"No I'm right here, love." Molly said as she walked into the room with the wet washcloth in her hand.
"Is that a condom?" Hermione asked as she watched Molly walk across the room, looking at the washcloth she was holding the whole time.
"That's a washcloth, Hermione." Ron stated as he flashed an odd expression at his wife of a couple months.
"What's a condom?" She asked, ignoring what Ron had just said.
"We'll tell you in the morning." Molly said as she sat down next to Hermione and pressed the washcloth against her forehead
"Mum, she already knows!" Ron warned as he, again, turned bright red.
"I know, I wasn't planning on telling her." Molly whispered as she tried to stifle a laugh.
"Hi, Mamma Weasley." Hermione said, oblivious to the fact that Ron and Molly were having a conversation, as she leaned into Molly and softly poked her cheek.
"Hi, sweetheart." Molly laughed as she adjusted herself on the couch so she wouldn't get puked on if Hermione started blowing chunks.
"I feel weird." She stated quietly as she rested her head in the crook of Molly's arm.
"I know you do, love. Just try to get some rest and you'll feel better in the morning." Molly replied as she smoothed Hermione's hair down against her head.
"Have you done this before, Mum?" Ron asked as he shifted his weight to one foot and crossed his arms against his chest, the Halloween costume still in his hands.
"Your brothers have come home drunk to many times to keep count." Molly replied as she smiled up at Ron. "So yes, I have."
"Uh Mum, 'Mione's sleeping." Ron said seconds later as he noticed the sleeping Hermione, amazed that she was able to fall asleep so fast.
"Then take her home." Molly replied, relief written across her face.
"Why do you look so relieved?" Ron asked accusingly as he walked closer to the two Weasley women and picked up his wife.
"I'm just glad she isn't like Bill or Charlie and stay up half the night puking their guts up is all." Molly replied as she also stood up.
"Ouch, sounds bad." Ron said as he let a curve appear on his lips.
"Yeah it's pretty bad." Molly replied as she kissed Ron affectionately on the cheek, "Now get your wife home, she's going to need her rest."
"Thank you mum." Ron stated as he leaned over and kissed his mum on the forehead. "G'night." He added and with a soft popping sound, he was gone.
