This is my very first story so don't yell at me. Yes, I don't like Sonally. I got bored on day and thought "Hey, what if Sonic found out that he loved Amy, not Sally.
Disclaimer: I don't own Amy, Sonic, or Sally.
Love Letters
Sonic sat on the park bench. He had read the letter over and over.
"Hey Sonic," Amy said coming up to him and sitting down next to him. "Something wrong?"
"I got a love letter from Sally but I don't if I love her."
"I feel your pain."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, when you love some one like I do. Seriously, you really love this person and you give all that you can to this person, but they never once look at the real you. You try really hard to show your love to this boy, but he never looks at you, never listens to you, and runs when you get near him. I mean really, I love this hedgehog a lot. But he never wants to be near me. When I try to save this guy, he ignores me and keeps thinking that I got help from his friends or that I'm weak. Sure, I wear a dress, sure I can't run that fast, but I'm still useful. And this hedgehog isn't Shadow or any other hedgehog. This BLUE hedgehog is stupid and a brat. I can't stand him. I mean, how do I show that I love Sonic the hedgehog when he keeps running from me?"
"Amy, I had no clue," Sonic said quietly.
Realizing her mistake, Amy gasped and covered her mouth with her hands. Tears began to slip off her face and into the ground below. She wiped the tears away, hoping Sonic hadn't seen them. But Sonic had.
"I think Cream called me," Amy said, pulling out her cell phone, so as to get an excuse to run. Amy stood up and ran away.
Sonic stood too. He wasn't going to chase Amy. He would have to make a choice. He tucked the letter in his pocket and turned to go to his house.
Sally was watching TV. I wonder if Sonic got my letter yet.
Just then her doorbell rang. "Coming," Sally shouted, getting up.
The only thing on her door step was a small envelope with the words "To Sally" on it.
Sally picked up the envelope and opened it. The letter simply said:
Dear Sally,
I can't love you. It would mean breaking the heart of the person who loves me. We can't be together. It just wasn't meant to be. Ever.
-Sonic.
Amy sat on the shore of the lake. Her face was tear stained. She had been tearing up flowers for a while now.
In a flash, Sonic was next to her. "Amy, I love you too."
Sonic grabbed her hand and pulled her close, into a hug.
He kissed her on the lips and pulled away.
If you were to walk along the shores at that second, you would see two hedgehogs sitting together, looking at a beautiful sunset.
