Colin stepped out of the shower, dried off, and put on his purple cape. There was usually a long line at the bathroom door, but ever since that drowner boy... What was his name Dagwood, David, Dagbert, that was it Dagbert Endless. Ever since he came to Bloor's Academy everyone had taken to bathing together, so no lines. Colin wasn't scared, anyway that drowner boy was in the music not the drama dorms, even if that boy was here Colin's secret would protect him. He looked at himself in the bathrom mirror, black hair, green eyes, and a dimple on his right side. I am pretty good looking, thought Colin. He started to walk out the dorms. He was late to dinner as usual, and he had to get to the dream a cafeteria before Manfred showed up.

"What are you doing here, Oaks." asked a rough voice as Colin was stepping out into the hall.

Too late Manfred was already here.

" Um..." started Fesker, trying to think of a good lie.

"Just get to class," Manfred snapped, he seemed distracted.

" Yes Manfred... I mean sir." replied Colin and started walking toward the cafeteria.

Colin couldn't believe he had gotten off scott free, he had been caught by Manfred many times before and had been giving grueling punishments. He walked through the old wooden doors of the dinning hall.

The cafeteria was huge, great chandeliers hung from the ceiling, ornate decorations lined the wall, and three tables ran from one side of the room to the other. The farthest table to the right was the music table, blue capes adorned the chairs,this is where a boy that rumors had circulated around, Charlie Bone also the drowner boy. The farthest table to the left was the art table, this is where the storm boy, the boy named Lynsayer, the magnet boy, and that girl... Emma went, green capes were worn by the art students. Right down the middle was the drama table where he and his friends attended. He walked past the table, into the door labeled Drama Cafeteria.

All the splendor from the dinning hall had vanished, the drama cafeteria was plain with no decorations. Colin looked down at the lumpy mess that was supposed to be macaroni and cheese.

"There's no use in examining it," said Kiri Eero the drama cafeteria cook, "What's your punishment for being late again?"

"Manfred didn't punish me," replied Colin, "And I promise I won't be late again."

As Colin walked out of the cafeteria he heard the cook mutter some thing about "promises".

"Why were you late?" Colin's best friend, James Riedem asked when Colin sat next to him at the noisy drama table.

"Fooling around," said Colin, "I would have gotten here earlier, but Manfred caught me."

"Did he punish you?" asked James who wad a very curious.

"Na," replied Colin, "He seemed really distracted. Did he leave dinner early?"

"He didn't even come to dinner," said James.

"Well that explains why it's so noisy here," said Colin, "Usually we'd be super-"

Colin stopped in mid-sentence, just then the most beautiful girl, his secret crush had come back from the music table. Colin drooled.

"Colin, Colin, Colin," said James snapping his fingers under Colin's nose.

"Huh," replied Colin.

"Oh, Olivia Vertigo," said James looking where Colin was staring, "I don't know why you bother trying to impress her, she loves Charlie Bone."

"But, she is just so beautiful, her personality and her features."

James snorted and turned back to his food. Colin couldn't help loving Olivia, they were just alike. He was the best male actor, she the best female. They were both eccentric. Colin was soon lost in thoughts about Olivia.
