Sage glanced out the window of her dad's car. Most of the witches and wizards in her group would arrive by flo powder, portkey, or apparate with their parents help. Very few muggle borns were allowed to come, as their parents had probably just learned about the wizarding world. She was lucky that she could convince her parents to let her go at all, after months of begging. Who gets a chance to go to Castelobruxo for a semester? Sage was nearly bursting from excitement, and anxiousness. She was hoping to find a new species of magical creature, something that would kickstart her career as a magizoologist. But who was she kidding. She was born in the wrong time period to find new species. She'd be lucky if she even learned something new.
The office buildings and homes of the city had long since faded away, and now there were just the occasional farm. She sighed and put her book back in her trunk. She couldn't focus right now, not even for Newt Scamander, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, her favorite magizoologist book. The car soon pulled into a dirt driveway, and was jostled around by potholes and rocks. As they got nearer, she could see tiny wisps of black from the apparating parents and their kids. When they finally pulled to a stop, she shut her book and put it in her trunk. Unbuckling her seatbelt and opening the door, and she hauled her trunk outside. Grabbing Kaiser, her northern spotted owl's cage, she hurried outside.
Thanking her dad through the window, she shut the door and hurried towards the supervisor. She was welcomed and was herded inside a small cabin with with the rest of the exchange students from hogwarts. Inside were plates of snickerdoodle and chocolate chip cookies, with mugs of hot chocolate with handfuls of marshmallows dropped inside. She sat down in a comfortable chair, taking a mug of hot chocolate and a cookie. Kaiser hooted softly, and she fed him a small marshmallow. A ruffle of his feathers let her know he was satisfied. She took a sip, and smiled uneasily.
Every once and awhile, the fire would roar, and out would emerge a young witch or wizard, and seconds later their trunks and the occasional pet would follow. When there was about thirty children in the room, the door slammed suddenly, and everyone jumped. None of the actual professors from Howarts could come, so a professor from Castelobruxo had offered to come with her students, and take the one's from Hogwarts to Castelobruxo. The professor smiled, and introduced herself and as professor Lavand, the herbology teacher. Her Portuguese accent was thick, making her English a bit difficult to decipher. She took another sip and set the mug down on the table. Finishing off her cookie, she stood up and grabbed her trunk and the owl cage, filing into line with the rest of the students. Lavand held out an old Premier League jersey, so old, that you could hardly tell what color it was, much less what team it came from. The group surrounded it, nervously prepared for the trip by portkey.

Do wizards have different languages? I checked pottermore and I don't think there was a definitive answer. Any guesses? Hmm not much dialogue here. That'll change...
