Luffy satt at the helm of the Thousand Sunny like he usually did, always waiting for something to happen. It had been 2 weeks since they left Water 7 and rescued Robin and even though Luffy was still recovering from the battle with Lucci, he still was begining to get restless.
"GAAAAaaaww, I wonder how far there's left till we reach this Flor... whatever Tria... whatever" he said out loud.
"I'd rather not know or care, the longer it takes until reach that troublesome sounding place, the better" said Usopp sitting behind, messing around with his tools and gadgets.
"I'm not sure what to think, if I'm either getting as bored as Luffy or agreeing with you Usopp" said Chopper sitting on the rail, fishing. Luffy ignored both of them and continued:
"I can't wait to see this awesome place, where it's said that everybody who enters dissappear! YIHAHAHAHA!!" he laughed with his eyes shining with excitement.
"D-d-dd-did you have to remind us of that d-d-ddd-d-dissappear part?!!" stuttered Usopp
Zoro satt in the survey room he had choosen as his own quarters resting after a few rounds of harsh training. He still seemed to have a bit of problem getting used to the fact that one of his swords had been destroyed (Yubashiri). As he was sighing he noticed a small object in the distance out in the ocean. He prepared the binocular and slowly zoomed at the object. When he first saw above it, there seemed to be white smoke coming out of what appeared to be a ship, a strange ship seemingly to be of complete metal (or metal plates). It had a sharp pointy helm with dragon eyes and a mouth painted on it. Peculiarly enough there was no sails on it and instead it seemed to be driven forward by rotating paddels similar to the ones on the Thousand Sunny. Beside all the strange features of the ship there was something familiar about the boat that Zoro just couldn't grasp.
"Hoy, there's a distant ship to the portside" Zoro said out of the megaphone. Nami had been sunbathing for a short while with Robin. She picked up her own binocular and aimed towards portside, she saw nothing but endless ocean.
"Are you sure? I see nothing" she shouted
"Then look harder, it's right there" he answered
"hmmmmm..." Nami instead aimed towards starboard and saw the ship coming into eyesight.
"GODDAMNIT ZORO! Still after hours of lessons you're the worst watchman I've ever seen! Portside is left, starboard is right, GET IT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL!!" she shouted furiously
"As if I wanted this bothersome job to begin with!" Zoro shouted in answer, making it extra loud through the megaphone.
"******* MARIMO!!" shouted Sanji slamming the kitchen door open. "would you mind that megaphone?! Can you ever ******* respect the fact that there's people trying to wo....." he suddenly stopped as he began to see the ship coming well into vision.
Luffy had also noticed the ship getting closer.
"Is it heading towards us?" he shouted
"Yeah, straight for us in high speed. From what I can tell it's pretty damn fast vessel" Zoro answered
"from looking at its flag, it looks like a pirate ship" he continued
"Could you describe the markings on the flag?" shouted Nami hoping she or Robin would be able to identify the group.
"It looks like a regular skull.... but with what looks whiskers coming out of it's nose" Zoro described
"Whiskers?" said Robin as she had just went up by Namis side. "hmm! That does sound familiar".
