In every story, there is a character that everyone misses, that everyone thinks so insignificant that they are ignored completely. Take Little Red Riding Hood, for instance. There are the main characters, Red, The Wolf, The Huntsman, Granny. But no-one takes Red's Mother into consideration. Without her, Red would never had existed, the story would have consisted of a woman living in the woods, near her sick mother, whilst a wolf roamed the woods and a huntsman did his work. The wolf would never had died, Granny would have been eaten, and the Woodsman wouldn't have heard Red crying for help, so wouldn't have saved her. Without that insignificant character, the story wouldn't have happened.
If we take this as an analogy. Red would be John, the Woodsman would be Sherlock, Moriarty would be the Wolf, Molly the Granny. But what about the Mother? What about a character so eluded, she was sometimes never mentioned? What about Charlotte, Sherlock and Mycroft's sister, who had acted as their nanny for their childhood years, barely mentioned amongst fan-fictions and stories? What was she, the one responsible for Sherlock and Mycroft's upbringing, for who they were today, doing now they had taken over the story and forgotten her?
She was becoming the most powerful woman in the criminal network.
Let me know in the comments if you want me to post the first few chapters, if your curious. This is my first fic, so I hope you enjoy if I do post the chapters :)
