"I can't believe you're dating Howard Wolowitz." Penny shook her head as she poured wine into her friend's glass.
"Why?" Bernadette asked.
"He's kind of a slut."
Bernadette rolled her eyes. "Come on, he's not that bad. He's actually pretty sweet. I'm surprised you haven't snapped him up."
"God, no." Penny grimaced, downing some of the red liquid to wash away the mental thought of herself and Wolowitz dating.
"Why not?"
"He's just really...he used to flirt a lot with me."
"Lots of guys flirt with you."
"No, every time I saw him, he'd be saying how beautiful he thought I was, speaking in Klingon, asking me out on dates. He tried to kiss me once."
"Lots of guys have done that with you." Bernadette pointed out. "You don't mind them."
"Well...it's different."
"You said he used to? What happened?"
"I broke his face."
"You hurt him because he tried to kiss you?"
"He was taking advantage because he had been upset, because I told him in pretty hardcore terms to back off."
"Geez, all this because he liked you?"
"Bernie, this was every time I saw him. Every time. It grated on me."
"I just don't understand. I mean, guys act like this to you every time we go out."
"I never see those men again. I see Howard nearly everyday."
"You hit him, though. Why?"
"I panicked." Penny admitted, downing her glass. "I've had men really...go for it, you know grabbing and stuff when I wasn't expecting it."
"I don't think Howie's that kind of man."
"He isn't. But it stopped him being a skeeve and helped us become closer to friends, so, honestly I don't regret it."
"Wow." Bernadette murmured. She wondered briefly whether or not Howard still liked Penny.
"Hey, he's really into you. I know he is, so don't worry about him wanting other women." Penny soothed, noticing her fellow waitress looked anxious.
Bernadette smiled. "I know."
This will probably be my last. Truth be told guys, I've just...lost love for the fandom. It's been an absolute blast though. Mislav, I hope this was good for you!
Farewell, gang.
Love from Shania. xx
