Christian raced up the steps of the elephant, hardly containing his excitement. Up, up the winding staircase and he burst through the door into the beautifully decorated elephant, with Satine's belongings and clothes scattered about. "Satine!" he called though uncontrollable laughter and excitement and he looked around for her, his boyish face filled with happiness. Then two delicate warm hands slid over his eyes, and a seductive voice smothered in giggles whispered in his ear "Guess who!" her perfume engulfed him and sent him spinning into a world of complete happiness. "Um..Santa Claus?" Christian replied being silly, Satine only laughed like a schoolgirl as she watched Christian waved around blindly before finding her waist and pulling her around to face him. Both smiled lovingly at each other before Satine smiled mischievously and raced up to the top of the elephant, followed by Christian, both were laughing uncontrollably as they played tag on the elephant top. Christian caught Satine and pulled her in close, before he stumbled down and they lay wrapped in each other's arms before Christian began to sing, in his perfect soulful voice.

Satine blushed and smiled, and whispered to him "Too true"
Satine got up, and pulled him with her and they danced around the elephant, totally engulfed in their love Christian sung jokes to Satine and she giggled and held him tighter, as the moon rose and the stars began to twinkle and night fell on Paris Satine sang to Christian, in her beautiful soprano voice that he loved to hear.

"I cant complain" Christian added, Satine smiled and continued

"Mine too!" Christian agreed, as she broke away from him and spun around, fluttering about him, he just watched in awe of her beauty.

"So would I!" Christian smiled, trying to catch her as she bounced and danced around, but he always missed.

"of course!" Christian said with his hands on his hips

"You'll never be trapped!" Christian exclaimed.

Cause with you, everything's alright Satine finished coming into his embrace, Christian was smiling more than ever before, Satine leaned in and kissed him on the cheek, he felt her soft lips press against his skin, his heart beat faster and faster, he closed his eyes to savor the moment. But when he opened his eyes, the absinthe wore off and he was alone, on top of the deserted elephant his heart ached again, as the pins of reality settled in again.
