Kitty: Ohayou minna-san, Kitty Uzumaki here with a brand new story. This story takes place after the fourth ninja war, I wouldn't call it a spoiler if you read the manga. But if you haven't, gomen. It's kinda angsty and maybe it might not be good, but it depends on you all.
This is a NejixIno story and this is dedicated to IamEnvious, who likes that pairing. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.
A Flower's Tears
It was a cloudy day in Konoha, the village was under re-construction after the Fourth Ninja war was over. They all finally defeated Madara Uchiha with the help of Naruto and the returning Sasuke.
While the war was over and the shinobi were celebrating, some were mourning the loss of their comrades and brethren.
Yamanaka Ino was no exception.
The blonde haired beauty was walking down the street of the village, carrying a bouquet of flowers as she was heading to her destination.
The blonde's blue eyes held no emotions as she held the bouquet of flowers tightly around her arms as she continue on walking before she arrived at her destination.
Right in front of her was the stone with the names of every single fallen shinobi that have died during the war.
She would come here every single day when there is no mission or duties at the hospital to stay around for a bit. They barely spoke, barely see each other, they don't hang out unless it is in groups.
No, that's not true. They have spoken to each other, but in secret. They've been having a secret romance for two years now and no one knows.
Not her teammates or their friends or family know about their relationship. They have been planning to tell everyone the news after the war was over, but he died during the war.
Tears began to fall from her once bright, blue/gray eyes as she read the name of the stone.
'Here lies Hyuuga Neji, a cousin, a nephew, a son, and a great shinobi. A true hero.'
Neji died in the war when he protected Hinata, who was protecting Naruto from the ten tailed beast.
Ino took it to heart when Neji died. She hasn't cried this much at the funeral, not even when Asuma died.
Ino kneeled down and placed the bouquet of flowers in front of the stone, crying her eyes out.
She began to cry and the rain began to fall from the sky, informing the mourning blonde that the sky is crying with her, like it has since Neji died.
'I love you, Neji.' Thought Ino as she continue to cry over her lover.
Kitty: I hope you like this story, sorry if it's not good. I tried my very best. Anyway, I can't wait to read some of your review and read what you think of it. Until then, ja ne minna-san.
