The large group was producing far more noise than one would deem possible. In the corner of the room, an attractive young man stood and reveled in the chaos. After all, it was what his lover specialized in. If he didn't enjoy it then who knows how much worse his life would be. He didn't speak a word as he observed the repercussions of his announcement to the 31st Nome.
He had just shared the news of his engagement to the embodiment of chaos, Apophis. As could be expected, they did not react well, claiming he was under a spell or mentally damaged to consider this a positive thing. As he came back to himself from daydreaming about the romantic proposal, he realized his sister was screaming in his face, not noticing the thoughtful look on her "boyfriend's" face. As Walt motioned for her silence, she backed down, assuming he was on her side about the matter.
"Carter, would you mind explaining how he was able to propose, being a massive snake?" he asked politely.
"Of course! He can assume a humanoid shape, with a few additions, of course." Came the reply.
