A/N Yays! Yes I know I should be writing my fic 'Highschool Crushes' but I wanted to write something or both Ryoma's birthday and Christmas. But mainly for Ryo-chan's B-Day. And yes I know the name sucks. Ryoma is really ooc in this. Sorry but I like how he acts in this and I can only repeat that on the computer by making him ooc.

-Ryoma's Christmas Birthday Wish-

Ryoma didn't particularly like Christmas. His own birthday always got passed over for the more favorable holiday and when people do remember they make witty comments on how he was almost born on Jesus' birthday. He did have to admit that he relished in a bit of joy when ever he told them that it was most likely that Jesus was born in the summer and that the day known as Christmas is actually an older holiday called Saturnalia that celebrated the god Saturn. Their dumbfounded expressions were hilarious. (That thing about Saturnalia and Jesus is true.)

Ryoma sighed, for once wishing someone had remembered his birthday. The day was halfway over and he had yet to get a phone call from his boyfriend, Fuji Syuusuke. The only ones who had called were Eiji and Oishi with a very happy, "Happy Birthday Ochibi!" and a, "Happy birthday Echizen." (Does Oishi add an honorific to Ryoma's name?)

Reluctantly pulling himself away from the window and the snowy seen outside, Ryoma ventured off to find his cat. He was just about to leave the room when his phone rang. He quickly scrambled over to it and cursed when he fumbled, dropping the phone on the ground. Finally managing to pick it up Ryoma answered with a nonchalant, "Moshi moshi."

"He, he. Saa, have trouble answering it Ryoma-kun," The voice on the other side chuckled.

"Syu-Syuusuke! What took you so long to call?" Ryoma asked exasperatedly. And why was his damn boyfriend chuckling. "I thought you had forgotten."

"Sorry, sorry, but the time difference from Japan and America confused me." Fuji may have said that sadly but Ryoma could practically see the grin on his boyfriend's face.

"Bull. Fuji You know perfectly well the time difference." Ryoma tried to hide the waver in his voice but failed horribly.

"Saa to make it up, why don't you open your door." Ryoma blinked, confused. Whispering an okay he walked over to the door and opened it. Standing outside his door is nonother than Fuji with open eyes and a grin that rivaled the Cheshire cat's.

"Syuusuke!" That was the only thing Ryoma could choke out. His hand went slack causing the phone in his hand to drop to the floor. The only sound in the room was the phone hitting the ground.

Fuji opened his arms, inviting Ryoma into them. Ryoma hesitated slightly before glomping Fuji with all his might. Fuji wrapped his arms around the lightly sobbing boy.

"I'm so gl-glad you're here. Why di-didn't you te-tell me your were com-coming?" (OOCness O.o)

"Saa that would have ruined the surprise. SURPRISE!" Ryoma giggled slightly at the insane antics of his boyfriend. "I'm your birthday present. And if you like this you'll love your Christmas present."

Ryoma licked his lips and smirked. "Can I open it early?" "Saa, I think I can allow that."

Let's just say that after that day, Ryoma no longer held any animosity towards Christmas.

A/N Well that didn't go like I wanted it to. Ohs wells. I know its short but it's just supposed to be a little Christmas/Ryoma's birthday ficlet. I'll hopefully get to update 'Highschool Crushes' before Christmas, but if I can't, please forgive me. And as you can tell from the story I'm not a very religious person so no flames for that.
