Prologue
Long before even Princess Celestia or Princess Luna was born, before even their parents were born, there was a beautiful alicorn Queen named Amatarasu. However, her beauty was not to be overlooked; she was a cruel, cruel, pony, who ruled Equestria with an iron-hoof. Those who went against her disappeared in flame. Years went on with her rule, and nopony thought anything could stop her reign, as although some prayed for her life to pass, rumors said that she had drunken the Fountain of Youth. Bathing in it would make you younger, but drinking it would make live for years on end.
At this point, everypony lost all hope…
…Until a thousand years later…
Two alicorn, of which we know as Celestia and Luna, although young, together were able to over-power Amatarasu, and seal her into the same fountain of which she used to live for an eternity. The two ponies then used three scepters to close the fountain, but not before using their power to create another fountain, as they were needed to raise the sun and moon.
To this day, the two ponies ruled Equestria, and everypony lived happily and fearlessly.
