The average sun weather was partly cloudy and giving off warm vibes. Stefan and Elena were outside the school on a picnic table finally chatting for today.
"You weren't in class, I was worried." Elena started out. "Yeah, I got your messages, and I'm sorry I didn't get back to you, but what I wanna say shouldn't be said over the phone." Stefan told her. "A simple "I didn't kill my brother" text would have sufficed." Elena stated. "I didn't kill my brother, as much as he deserved it. He has you to thank for that." Stefan informed her, still not partly forgiving Damon for killing his best friend. Elena nodded slightly. As she did so, Stefan briefly looked past her noticing something odd. He normally didn't pay attention to the school details and students, but he could have sworn he never saw her before. She was a mixed African American with curly puffed up hair. It was something about her that was familiar yet unfamiliar at once. "So, what did you wanna tell me?" Elena asked out. Stefan broke his brief concentration on the girl and looked back at Elena. "I won't be coming to school anymore. I'm gonna back off and keep my distance. It's the right thing to do." Stefan told her.
"Back off from school or from me?" Elena asked, seeing a hidden meaning in his words. Stefan stayed quiet as an awkward silence fell between them. "Thank you for telling me." Elena continued, moving past the odd silence. "It's better this way." He told her. "Yep. I got it." Elena stated, clearly upset. "You're angry. That's good. It'll be easier if you hate me." Stefan stated, before getting off his seat ready to leave, before Elena had the chance to protest on that statement. Stefan started to walk off across the yard, but kept eyeing the girl he was looking at earlier. She reminded him of someone. He just couldn't think of who. Soon he paused when he caught the girl looking over at him. She was grinning at a girl, but once her eyes met his, her demeanor changed and she was no longer grinning. Instead she slightly cocked her head from side to side as a small smirk formed on her lips and she walked off back into the school.
Her eyes.
Something was clearly off about her eyes. They were hazel green. He was certain he had seem them before one time and that he had seen her once. He just couldn't remember. Or maybe, she just physically reminded him of someone. For all he knows, she's probably just an everyday student that he just acknowledged now. With that mindset, Stefan continued to leave the school and sped off when he was certain no one would spot him.

"Okay it's your last chance." Damon told her. "I'm gonna scream." Bonnie warned him, feeling scared he was nearby.
"Oh no. Don't do that. Let's stay on point. I want my necklace." Damon stated. "You can't have it." She told him. "I can't take it, but you can give it to me. I'm trying to help you, here." Damon tried to tell her. "I don't want your help." Bonnie stated firmly. "You do want my help, and you don't even know it. You know why, you little witch? 'Cause you stumbled into something you need to stumble out of." Damon told her.
"Just leave me alone or I swear-" Bonnie warned him.
"Don't! No threats. Look, A) You hurt me last time. B) I wish you no harm. Believe it or not, Bonnie, I wanna protect you. Let me help you get Emily off your back." Damon told her.
"How do you know about her?" Bonnie asked him confused.
"I know a lot of things, and I know more about that crystal than you do, and I know she's using it to creep inside you. See how scared you are? And, you should be, because I will get that crystal, even if I have to wait for Emily to give it to me herself..." Damon soon cut himself off seeing as a girl with sunglasses on walked up to them.
"Bonnie, it's time to go head for home. Get in." She demanded. Bonnie nodded hesitantly and got on the other side of the car, where the passenger seat lied. The girl looked at Damon from top to bottom briefly, before getting into the driver's seat and driving off. Damon stood there and watch them leave stunned.
What just happened?
He was just persuading Bonnie to allow him to have the necklace and out of nowhere, that chick came out and took his chance of convincing Bonnie away.
It took a minute to process, but Damon was royally pissed off. Even more than before.
"What did he tell you?" She asked Bonnie. "He was going on about the necklace again and how Emily was trying to get into me somehow." Bonnie told her cousin. "Look, Bon, Damon's bad news. You should stay as far away from him as possible." She warned Bonnie.
"I'm trying! But he just keeps popping up." Bonnie stated. "Maybe it would be best if you spended the night with some friends. Maybe that Gilbert girl you're besties with and make a whole night out of it." Bonnie's cousin suggested.
"Fine, okay. But take your stupid necklace back. I don't want it anymore." Bonnie said, taking it off and handing it over to her cousin. She smirked slightly, clutching it in her hand. "What would Grams think?" She started out, knowing how much boring ol' Grams wanted nothing more but Bonnie to have that necklace.
"Grams isn't the one being hunted by a hundred and fifty year old ghost, is she?" Bonnie snapped slightly. Her cousin smirked. "Be careful, Bon. You're starting to sound like me now."

"He threatened her, Stefan." Elena informed him on how Bonnie texted her after school that Damon went after her. Since it was after school, she decided to call him up for help despite the fact he needed to "back off".
"What does he want with Bonnie?" Stefan asked her. "She has this necklace. Her cousin had it once, then placed it up for the Founder's ball, Caroline got it, then she gave it to her, and now Damon wants it. He's tormenting her." Elena told him. Stefan's brows frowned slightly. "Bonnie has a cousin?" He started out. "Oh, yeah... she does. Her cousin's been here for a long time, even before my parent's passed. I've never met her, but Bonnie has said some good vague things about her, I'm pretty sure the necklace was hers, and Damon wants it for some reason." Elena told him.
"So he's tormenting her. Over a necklace." Stefan voiced out, seeing how ridiculous it sounded himself. "It's not just any necklace. It has to do with Bonnie's heritage. It belonged to one of her ancestors who lived during the Civil War... When you and Damon lived here." Elena started out.
"Her name was Emily. She was Katherine's handmaiden, and a witch." Stefan stated, feeling slight discomfort, realizing something. How could Bonnie's cousin have the necklace, when it's over 100 years ago? Sure the family may have passed it down for generation or something like that, but something was still off on that story. At least to Stefan. Plus the last thing he need to recall was his last days alive in 1864.
"You know? About Bonnie?" Elena asked in surprise.
"The first night you invited me over for dinner. I made the connection." Stefan told her. "And now Damon knows, and for some reason he wants that necklace." Elena stated.
"What does it look like?" Stefan asked her. "It's an antique iron setting with a-.." Elena started to describe.
"..-With an amber crystal. I know it. It belonged to Katherine. Emily gave it to her, which means that..." Stefan trailed off thinking it over.
"What?" Elena asked out.
"I don't know, but I'm gonna find out. Let me talk to Damon." Stefan informed her. "Will he tell you?" Elena questioned slightly.
"I'll get it out of him." Stefan stated, before leaving the front porch.

It was night time and Bonnie, Caroline and Elena were at the Gilbert house prepping for a sleep over. They were in the kitchen, where Elena gave a look at Caroline who finally gave in.
"I'm sorry. There. I said it. If you want the ugly ass necklace, keep it. It's yours." Caroline apologically told her friend and sighed. Bonnie looked a bit guilty. "Will you hate me if I tell you I gave it away?" Bonnie started out carefully. "You gave it away?" Caroline asked out annoyed. "I know it sounds crazy, but that necklace was giving me nightmares. I had to get rid of it." Bonnie tried to explain to her in the simplest way. "You could have just given it to me." Caroline stated. "Why? So you could give it to Damon?" Elena added and interrupted their conversation.
"Screw Damon. Are we doing manicures or what? Who has their kit?: Caroline asked, briefly. "Mine's in my bag." Bonnie stated. Caroline nodded and rifled through Bonnie's bag, while asking Elena, "So, Elena...how long do you think this fight with Stefan's gonna last? Is it... like a permanent thing?"
"I don't know, Caroline." Elena stated.
Caroline suddenly became angry as she looked up at Bonnie. "Why are you such a little liar, Bonnie?" She started out, clearly pissed.
"What?"
"Caroline!"
Both Elena and Bonnie reacted astonished and in confusion as Caroline held up the necklace, Bonnie was certain she gave back to her cousin. "I'm not lying to you, Caroline, I swear." Bonnie told her. "Then explain it." Caroline tested her. Bonnie sighed and pulled out her phone, dialing her cousin, hoping she'd answer.
"Bon-Bon?" The voice rang out in confusion on the other line. Bonnie had left the phone on speaker for everyone to hear. "Hey, Clem.. I was uh.. wondering... did you put that necklace I gave you in my bag before I left?" Bonnie asked her cousin, wondering if it was one of her pranks.
"Um.. What bag?" She asked out.
"The one I was taking over at Elena's. Did you put your necklace in there with my stuff?" Bonnie told her.
"No, I placed it in my jewelry box. Why? Did it teleport?" She joked out and stated.
"Heh. Okay. I'll call you back later then." Bonnie chuckled nervously, before hanging up the phone.
"Well.. that was weird. But it still doesn't explain why you have it now." Caroline stated. "Emily." Bonnie stated to herself. "Who's Emily?" Caroline asked. "The ghost." Bonnie clarified. "Oh, the ghost has a name now." Caroline mockingly stated. "Caroline, please." Elena asked her friend politely to cut it out. "I wonder why she won't leave me alone." Bonnie said to Elena, blocking Caroline out.
"What's going on? Why am I not part of this conversation? You guys do this to me all the time." Caroline stated, being upset again. "That's not true." Elena stated, even though deep down it felt like another lie to her. "Yes it is. I can't talk to you. You don't listen." Bonnie stated truthfully. "That's not true." Caroline stated stubbornly.
"I'm a witch." Bonnie admitted and tested her.
"And don't we all know it." Caroline joked out in irritation. "See? That's what I'm talking about. I'm trying to tell you something. You don't even hear it." Bonnie stated with a fact. "I listen. When do I not listen?: Caroline stated once again. Bonnie scoffed and left the kitchen, causing Caroline to scoff back at her mockingly. Elena gave Caroline a 'really' look indicating how childish she was acting on the whole situation.

After having a nice booze and slight partying up at the Grill, Stefan brought his brother, Damon to the football field
"What are we doin' here?" Damon asked out. "Bonding. Catch! Go on. Give it a try." Stefan encouraged him. "Don't forget who taught you how to play this game." Damon reminded him, before playing with a little bit with him. They bot sped around the court playing near hardcore football vampire style, before tackling each other.
"That hurt." Damon groaned. "Downside of my diet-getting hit actually hurts a little bit." Stefan stated, silently hissing in pain to himself. "I'm impressed Stefan. Fun with booze and darts, sentimental with football, and now? Starry night What do you want, Stefan.: Damon started out after a second.
"It wasn't real, Damon. Our love for Katherine. She compelled us. We didn't have a choice. Took me years to sort that out, to truly understand what she did to us." Stefan told him. "Oh, no, Stefan. We're not takin' that on tonight." Damon stated, pulling himself off the ground. He soon started to walk away, but stopped when Stefan asked, "What do you want with Katherine's crystal."
"How do you know that?" Damon asked him.
"Come on. You knew Elena would tell me." Stefan stated. "How do you know it was Katherine's? Emily gave it to her on her last night. I was with her, and you weren't." Damon clarified more to him. "I was the last one to see her, Damon. Now, what do you want with Katherine's crystal? Stefan informed him. "She didn't tell you" He wondered. "We had other things on our mind." Stefan stated honestly. Damon got pissed at what he meant by that and sped up to his face, with a threatening look.
"I could rip your heart out and not think twice about it." Damon spat out. "I've heard that before." Stefan stated with a smirk. "I have a bigger surprise, Stefan." Damon dramatically paused, walking away from him and dropping, "I'm gonna bring her back." on him.
Stefan stood in his place thinking over the sudden revelation. "How can you bring Katherine back? Stefan eventually found the strength to ask. "Before Katherine and the others were killed in the church. Do you remember what it was like in this town?" Damon questioned him.
"I remember the simplty, the fear, and the hysteria." Stefan stated, thinking briefly of what life was like for them. Of course he didn't think too far back knowing he'd end up feeling guilty for it.
"Townspeople were killing vampires one by one. When they came for Katherine, I went straight to Emily, said, "I'll do anything. Name your price. Just protect her." She did." Damon told him, adding more info into their well known story. "How?" Stefan asked, still finding it didn't add up.
"She did some kind of spell with the crystal. And while the church was burning, and we thought Katherine was burning, she wasn't." Damon continued to explain. "But I saw her go inside." Stefan told his brother, trying to find a way that it wasn't possible she survived.
'There's a tomb underneath the church. The spell sealed Katherine in the tomb, protecting her." Damon clarified. "Are you telling me Katherine's alive?" Stefan asked out in disbelief of it being possible at all. "If that's what you wanna call it. She's been trapped in a mystical holding cell for the last century and a half, but you're an expert on a starving vampire, so how do you think she's doing, Stefan? Did you know that witches can use celestial events to draw into their magic. Me either. But in order to give the crystal power, Emily used the comet that passed overhead. And, in order for that crystal to work again..." Damon explained.
"The comet had to return." Stefan stated.
"Downside? Long time in between comets. And a couple of hiccups along the way with the crystal, but the comet passed and I got the crystal. And then Caroline got the crystal, and now Bonnie has the crystal, and here we are." Damon told him.
"I'm pretty sure Bonnie's cousin is the one that had it first." Stefan informed him. "Does it matter? It was stolen 145 years ago, and I had found it recently. Made sure to keep it in a safe spot, but of course my perky cheerleading spot had to give it over to her best witch friend. Oh well, you live and learn." Damon stated out loud. "Why would Emily...? Why would she held you, anyway?" Stefan asked out, feeling confused a bit. "Because she knew they were gonna go after her. too, and she made me promise that her lineage would survive." Damon continued to tell him.
"I remember. You saved her children." Stefan stated to himself out loud.
"It's the only thing keeping me from ripping that little Bonnie girl's throat out to get my crystal back. Oh well, a deal's a deal. So... you wanna play more?" Damon asked out. Stefan shook his head briefly needing one more minute to let the information sink in on how Katherine could possibly have been alive this entire time.

"Okay, fun's over, Caroline. You made a point, and I get it. Now give it back." Elena told Caroline. An hour ago after Bonnie and Caroline's bickering, Caroline had apologized to her and insisted they'd perform a séance. It was a bad idea at the time and it still remained that way even after.
"What? Well, I didn't take it. What? What happened?" Caroline stated.
"I don't know. Nothing. Jeremy, are you home?" Elena called out, certain she had heard someone enter the house. As Bonnie and Caroline searched for the necklace, Elena checked the hallway.
"Hello." Elena heard a vague voice behind her. She quickly turned around to see a person emerge from the shadows. "W-Who are you?" Elena asked out in confusion. "Clementine. I'm Bonnie's cousin." She answered out. Elena nodded fully recognizing her voice. "I'm Elena, but.. you already knew that I'm sure." Elena briefly introduced herself.
"You're right, I do know. Where's Bonnie?" Clementine asked out. Before Elena could answer, they both heard a door slam and a scream shortly followed after. With no hesitation, Clementine and Elena ran towards the source of the sound.
"Bonnie! What's going on?" Elena started off as Caroline was trying to open the sealed door. "Bonnie!" Caroline let out.
"Try the other door. I'll check the hallway." Elena quickly brainstormed. "Bonnie! Bonnie! Unlock the door." Caroline and Clementine demanded her. Clementine was in near shock that she herself couldn't open the door. She knew right then that magic was involved.
"Bonnie! Bonnie! Bonnie! Open the door." Elena pleaded slightly, fearing the worst for her friend.
Then, just like that, it suddenly stopped. It all stopped and the door had opened on its own. Clementine barged on in to find Bonnie sitting on the ground with her head in her hands.
"What the hell happened? Are you okay, Bon?" Clementine asked her.
"I'm fine." Bonnie simply answered.
"Unbelievable. You were totally faking it." Caroline steamed out. "Caroline, come on." Elena tried to calm her down. "No! You scared the hell out of me." Caroline stated.
"Bonnie?" Clementine asked out again to be certain.
"I'm fine." Bonnie repeated. "I can't believe I fell for it." Caroline continued on. "Are you okay?" Elena soon asked to Bonnie. Something was off about her. Clementine could tell, she just didn't know what. "I must go." Bonnie soon announced. "Go where?" Clementine questioned her. "She's leaving. I'm leaving." Caroline stated. "You guys can't leave." Elena told them. "I can. I've had enough freaky fake witch stuff for today." Caroline informed her. "Thank you for having me. I'll take it from here." Bonnie said, as she made her way out of the bathroom and was heading downstairs. "Where are you going?" Clementine and Elena unknowingly asked at the same moment, as Clementine pulled on to Bonnie's arm.
"Back to where it all began." Bonnie told Clementine, before pulling out of her grasp and running down the stairs. "Bonnie! Bonnie!" Both Elena and Clementine called her out. Seeing as she wouldn't respond, they both thought over what she had said. "Emily!" Clementine called out, half expecting her to respond to that name. When she did she turned around to say, "I won't let him have it. It must be destroyed." before running out of the house. As Elena ran after her, Clementine remained in her place knowing exactly where Emily would go. She just wished she knew why. Snapping out of her thoughts, Clementine went downstairs to open the front door. It was no longer spelled shut for her, making it easier for her to leave. "Where are you going?" Elena asked out confused on how she was able to open the door. "To find my cousin." Clementine simply remarked before leaving the house entirely.
Not knowing what to do, Elena calmly dialed Stefan's number for help.
"Elena?" Stefan voiced out.
"Stefan, where are you?" Elena tried not to panic.
"What's wrong?" Stefan asked, knowing from her voice something had happened.
"It's Bonnie." Elena simply said.
"What happened?" He asked her.
"Emily is possessing her. She said something." Elena told him.
"What did she say?" Stefan asked.
"She said "I won't let him have it. It must be destroyed.". And then she just left." Elena told him.
"Where do you think she went?" Stefan asked her.
"I don't know." Elena soon paused to think it over. "Fell's church, by the old cemetery is where she took Bonnie in her dreams. We have to help her, Stefan."
"Just stay there. I'm gonna go find her." Stefan assured her.
"Be careful. Bonnie's cousin just came by earlier. She's out there looking for Bonnie too." Elena informed him.
"I will." He promised before hanging up.
Arriving to the scene, Stefan found Damon impaled through the gut against the tree with a tree branch. It was must likely placed there by Emily. "It hurts. This is why I feed on people." Damon whined, after Stefan pulled him off the branch.
"Stefan." Emily soon voiced out, not too far away. Stefan turned to look at 'her'. "Hello, Emily." He started off. "These people don't deserve this. They should never have to know such evil." Emily told him. "What do you mean evil?" Stefan asked her.
"Emily. I swear to god, I'll make you regret this." Damon warned her.
"I won't let you unleash them into this world." Emily spated out. "Them? What part of the story did you leave out, Damon?" Stefan questioned him. "What does it matter?" Damon stated out in defense.
"Emily. Tell me what you did." Stefan consulted her. "To save her, I had to save them." Emily admitted. "You saved everyone at the church?" Stefan asked, almost in disbelief. "With one comes all." Emily stated. "I don't care about them. I just want Katherine." Damon reminded Stefan. "I knew I shouldn't have believed a single word that comes out of your mouth. This isn't about love, is it? This is about revenge." Stefan stated.
"The two aren't mutually excusive." Damon quipped. "Damon, you can't do this." Stefan told him. "Why not? They killed 27 people, and they called it a war battle. They deserve whatever they get." Damon expressed. "27 vampires, Damon. They were vampires. You can't just bring them back." Stefan tried to get through to him. "This town deserves it." Damon stubbornly declared. "You're blaming innocent people for something that happened 145 years ago." Stefan informed him.
"There is nothing innocent about these people, and don't think for a second it won't happen again. They already know too much, and they'll burn your little grandwitch right next to us when they find out. Trust me." Damon insisted. "Thing's are different now." Emily declared. "Don't do this." Damon nearly begged her. "I can't set them free. I won't." Emily stated.
"Emily." Clementine called out. She had heard the whole conversation and already knew which side she was on. "Clemmie. You've grown." Emily nearly teared up seeing her face to face. Clementine looked at Bonnie's eyes being able to see Emily's soul within her. There were so many things she wanted to tell her, to say to her, but knew how little to no time she had left to do so.
"I waited. For 3 days, I waited." Clementine informed her. Emily nodded her head not knowing how to respond to that fact. So she didn't. Instead she apologized. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Incendia!" Emily then chanted while surrounding a flame around her. She then threw the necklace in the flames destroying it permanently. Furious, Damon sped through a small gap within the flames to attack Emily for stabbing him in the back by going against their deal. At the same time he would have killed Bonnie in the process, seeing as their deal was off. Knowing that was yet to come, Clementine pulled Damon off of Bonnie once the flames vanished immediately after Emily left her body. On instinct, Damon pushed Clementine away, his face still swifted. Before he could attack both her and Bonnie, Clementine pulled out dust that she picked up at the cemetery when looking for Emily from her pocket and blew it in Damon's face. For a few seconds, he was blinded and off guard, giving her to chance to sped toward him and snap his neck with ease. During all of this, Stefan was attending to Bonnie's wounds. She was going to live.
Seeing as she no longer had to concern herself with her safety anymore, she simply walked off to go change out of her clothes at home. There she would probably have to explain a lot of more things to her once she regained consciousness.
Finally arriving to her destination, Clementine started walking up the front porch only to pause in her steps. There she noticed Grams beside the doorway behind the threshold with a conceited look on her face.
"Good evening, Shelia. How was your day today?" Clementine started off with a cheerful grin. "Don't pretend you care, we both know you don't." Grams reminded her. "I'm not pretending. I'm just trying to make up conversation. Yes, even I can stoop as low as conversating with you out of pure boredom." Clementine said. "Where's my granddaughter, Clementine?" Grams asked sternly, not wanting to continue dancing around the subject. "She's fine. Comatose, but fine." Clementine said, with a wicked grin.
"What did you do to her?" Grams demanded to have a clear answer. "Don't get your panties in a twist, Shelia. We had a little encounter with this ghost witch that took over her body. That particular witch had a deal with my brother, and promised him to protect his girlfriend in exchange he'd keep her lineage alive. Skip 145 years later, she no longer wants him to unleash hell on earth by freeing his girlfriend. So, being pissed as my brother can be, he attacked her in Bonnie's body. I saved her from him for now, but she's a little... out of it, I should say. She should be back to normal by tomorrow." Clementine summarized for her.
"That's good then. When will she be home?" Gram asked her. "I left her with my other brother and Elena. She's in good hands, believe me." Clementine told her. "Oh, I believe you. I just don't trust you." Grams stated. Clementine rolled her eyes, as she made her way to the doorway, but leaped back in bafflement of there being an invisible barrier on the door. A shocking barrier one nonetheless.
"What the hell?!" Clementine hissed as her hand needed a second to heal from the electric shock. "I don't like you, Clementine. And I'm certain the feeling's mutual. I have made my feelings towards you straightforward since day 1, as nobly you've done the same. But we both know you're anything but noble. Nevertheless, I've always wanted to kick you out of my house. It took nearly 3 months, but I finally perfected my spell of keeping you permanently out. Now all that's left is for me to tell Bonnie what you really are. The true monster you've tried so hard to hide from her." Grams enlightened to her. "I didn't hide anything from her." Clementine proclaimed. "It no longer matters. The point is I want you out of my house. Get out of my house." Grams stated. "Fine, Shelia. Bravo! You won, I lost. You happy now? But seriously, can't you allow me in just for tonight. I'll leave forever in the morning. Scouts honor." Clementine tried to persuade her. "My mind is already set. I don't ever want to see your face in my home ever again. Do you hear me?" Grams told her. "Yes. Fine. Can I at least have my stuff?" Clementine asked. "Sure. I packed most of your stuff in a luggage. It's right on the lawn." Grams informed her. Clementine narrowed her eyes at her with disdain as she glanced over at the ripped up suitcase that contained her clothes and half of her other items.
"You are so dead. Do you hear me, Shelia? You might as well start digging your own grave, because you're dead. You were already dead to me before, but know you're officially going to die. Mark my words. You're dead!" Clementine foreshadowed her fate, then ended up laughing hysterically at her own dark thoughts. Turning on her heels, she went out to the front lawn to pick up her suitcase with her belongings. She then heard the front door slam behind her. Right then, it finally hit her she got kicked out by her own family. Now she really need to come up with a back up strategy. She didn't want to stay at some rotten motel, since the service would be awful, she wouldn't be able to entertain herself and she would be too far away from Bonnie. She still needed to check up on her later tomorrow. So where could she go?
It then finally hit her. As much as she despised the idea itself and found the rotten motels to sound strangely more appealing to her all of a sudden, she knew it was all she had left. Besides it would be extremely entertaining if they actually allowed her to stay. Shaking her head, she picked up her suitcase by the side handle and sped out of the front lawn as it was starting to pour down rain on her.
There she stood in front of the mansion, basking in its full testosterone glory.
She could actually remember the day this mansion got built within a week in the name of the fallen Salvatore brothers and their father's death. Since then, anyone with the last name Salvatore had legal custody over the Salvatore family's inheritance. Even bastards.
Clementine could hear them inside, both of them talked briefly about Katherine, then went on to Emily and quickly went on about her.
"I don't know why... but I feel as though I've seen her before." Stefan let out.
"Whoever she is, the bitch's got a lot of fire in her. If it weren't for that parlor trick she'd pull, it would have been me who snapped her neck like a twig." Damon egotistically bragged.
"I'm serious, Damon. Tell me she didn't remind you of someone too." Stefan told him.
"Given how pissed I was and still am and how fast it all went down, I don't even remember what she looked like." Damon said.
"What about when she was just talking to Emily? Before the attack went down. Those two obviously knew each other." Stefan stated.
"Unlikely. Either they knew each other back before Emily was burned at a stake or Emily somehow possessed someone else at some point in order to meet her without the comet to boast up her powers, which I call bull." Damon considered the odds.
"Clemmie." Stefan muttered to himself.
"Excuse me?" Damon asked him.
"Emily called her Clemmie. They most likely knew each other during 1864 or even before that. And her eyes. Her eyes, Damon... I've seen them before. They looked just like our father's." Stefan soon pieced together. Damon thought it over as well, letting the revelation sink in.
"That's impossible. She's dead, Stefan. She's been dead for over a 100 years." Damon tried to deny the fact.
"Not unless she became a vampire." Stefan stated.
Seeing this as the perfect opportunity, Clementine walked into the unlocked door and entered their human legally-bounded house free zone. Walking into the living room, both brothers turned to face her in shock and in denial.
"Hello, boys." She soon announced and smirked.
