Vlad POV

"Vlad, come down here. I have some people I want you to meet." Nelly called from downstairs. Vlad groaned, visitors downstairs meant no 'tea'. To add to his pain his best friend, Henry, was helping his cousin Joss move in for the year. The three boys would be attending Bathory High as freshmen. "Vlad!" Nelly yelling interrupting his deep thoughts. The boy trudged down the stairs, when he looked up he saw Nelly with two girls about his age.

One of them had Auburn hair, a deep tan, and amber eyes that looked as bright as the son. Her eyes were kind but her stance was wary as if she was going to attack and defend herself at any moment. She was dressed in a Surfing U.S.A. t-shirt with jeans and tennis shoes. She had glasses hanging off her nose as if she hardly used them.

The other had ebony black hair, milky pale skin which was even whiter than mine, and calculating black eyes that seemed to gaze into your soul. She was dressed in a faded Three Days Grace t-shirt, ripped black skinny jeans and old combat boots. She had a necklace that was a small sack tied onto a string.

"Vlad, this is Vilot," Nelly said gesturing to the pale girl, "and Indago." She then gestured to the tan one. "They just moved in across the street. I talked with their brother and they're staying for dinner."

"How do you know them?" Vlad asked Nelly./p

"They're my nieces." Nelly's face was guarded.

"You're kidding right?"
