Notes: Kind of like that official art with them holding a star between them. But not.
She curls her hands close to her chest, smiling up at him as she does so, eyes shining brightly as her mouth half opens as if she were about to say something.
"Shhh," he quiets her, laying his own hand warmly over hers, devotion and caring showing in his eyes and a smile mirroring the one in front of him. The small distance between them closes but has never been a chasm of any kind, their knowledge of the other thicker, deeper and stretching further than any amount of space could hope to reach. Her head lays beside his heart and his breath whispers past her ear as they embrace.
He has no reason to respond to her previous gesture, to say the words that lay heavy in the air, ones they know are true.
Leaves swirl around them, rich gold and ruby leaves spinning around the brown-headed couple and slicing through words un-needed.
I-I- I love you.
I know, I do too.
