Training
Your fighting skills were atrocious
the first time we met.
pride is your strength and weakness
protecting you and at the same time pulling you down.
down into what you thought was comfort
blinding you from the things you needed to be taught.
other than your fighting expertise which has now improved
I watch as every other trait remains the same
as you lie to your sister yet again.
Don't worry, I'll teach you
to realize that your selflessness for her
is actually selfishness.
one day you will let all the truths come out
to the innocent ears that need to hear them.
relationships are just like training.
they take time
