Sakura leaned back against a tall pine tree drinking in the soft fall air. Behind her stood the Village Hidden in the Leaves along with everything she believed in. Smiling she did not even bother to open her eyes when a leaf swirled lazily past her face. "Naruto what are you doing?" She looked up staring Naruto in the eyes. The blonde shinobi stared boldly back from his upside down postion in the tree. Neither Sakura nor Naruto spoke their gazes unwavering. Naruto watched as Sakura licked her full bottom lip and her face took on a lovely light pink hue. He knew his chance was now for he might not ever get another chance like the one gods were offering him at that moment. "Sakura, there is something I have longed to do since I first layed eyes on you." Naruto smiled softly reaching forward slowly with his left hand to gently caress Sakura's porcelain face.
The color on Sakura's face darked silightly as she memorized this moment in time. "It's my first kiss." She thought feeling the warmth from Naruto's hand on her face his thumb absently stroking her cheek. Naruto's heart hammered wildly in his chest taking in Sakura's beauty. He closed his eyes halfway gently pulling Sakura closer. The pink haired girl placed her hand on Naruto's cheek leaning into the kiss a light breeze ruffled her hair as what felt like electircity coursed through her veins. Sakura found her arms whining their way around Naruto's neck refuesing to let go. "Is this what true love feels like?" They both thought as the branch Naruto was hanging upside down from broke.
Sakura's quick reflexs saved her from a nasty hit on the head. Naruto on the other hand was not quite as lucky. He landed face first on the ground. Sakura was quick to pull him up and dust him off. "Are you okay?" Naruto fought back the tears that threatened to overflow and ruin everything. "Yeah." He blinked hard twice hoping his vision would clear. Luck was still with him Sakura stopped swimming taking solid shape again. "Sakura do you want go to the ramen shop? It's on me." Sakura smiled she couldn't resist a free dinner. She nodded holding out her hand to Naruto. The youth took Sakura's hand in his savoring the feel of her skin against his. As the two made their way back toward the village three shadows appeared next to the pine tree.
"Is that him?" The first voice whispered. "Yes that is the boy within whom the nine tailed fox resides." Answered the only female voice in the group. If we have him there will be no stopping us." Rasped the third voice.
