All she could think of was how unfair the situation was. Everyone else had shot someone and none of them had to go to three months of therapy for shooting a guy - she didn't need therapy to talk about what happened, if it had been Flack or Danny who shot Shane, neither of them would have to go pay Dr. Johnson a visit to talk about what had happened.
Why on earth did they give her a medal anyway? She didn't want it. She shot Casey because it seemed like the only thing to do before he caused more damage.
She decided that she wasn't going to give Dr. Johnson the satisfaction, she didn't really want to talk to her about what happened and it didn't make sense that she had to. No one else ever got this sort of treatment. None of them ever had to see this woman to discuss a shooting.
Danny was there too, but he didn't have to go - and he's probably shot more people in his life and never had three months of therapy to look forward to.
