1A Man Exist

A/N: This is the first chapter of the rewrite of the story The Broken Heart of a Traitor. I made a lot of mistakes in that one and most of the chapters were rushed and my grammar wasn't as good as it could have been and the chapters were too short, in this version this will be the only short chapter.

I escaped the horizon feeling nothing was the easiest existence, leaving a world of regret in a wake of flames, no flame ever burned as bright, I will not leave a martyr, no more eyes to frame my falls, I can't live life for closed hearts, joy left me that day pulled from my hands as they robbed me of life, I am leaving earth burning the past as I turn and wave goodbye, I am finally alive.
Naruto lay on the cold dirt next to the river as he watched the blood mix with the brown earth. He had been betrayed by his friends and the ones he fought to protect, all because of some lie told to them by people who thought they were great enough to lead the village, they only hated him because they thought he would take their power away from him when he became Hokage. He let his thoughts slowly drift back to the events of leading up to his betrayal.

Naruto walked down the street ignoring the same cold stares he had everyday felt burning into him. He was heading towards one of the only places where he could go that didn't have the same stares Ichiraku Ramen, when a squad of ANBU landed around him with weapons drawn. The one with the dragon mask spoke first.
"Uzumaki Naruto, you have been branded a traitor and are to be executed on sight." The feminine voice spoke barely above a whisper.
Naruto froze in fear as his thought process collapsed, it was only on pure instinct that he jumped out of the way of the cloud of kunai and shuriken. He quickly took flight toward the Hokage Monument jumping up the faces as exploding kunai landed around him blowing pieces of the celebrated monument. He neared the top as kunai imbedded itself in his upper back sending him over the top and slamming into a tree. He then used his mass shadow clone jutsu to go off in every direction hoping to confuse the ANBU. He sprinted through the woods until he to dodge a kunai, the knife slicing through his arm. He then s tumble out of the forest and on to a cliff marked with a single tree on the end. As he supported himself on the tree as he caught his breath he heard an all too familiar voice. "I never thought you would stoop to this level, idiot." Naruto spun around to find his former team mates with weapons in their hands.
"Naruto, just surrender, it will all be easier in the end." Kakashi pleaded.
"You know the fate for traitors." said Sasuke forming the hand signs for the Chidori. He charged at Naruto with the cackling ball of blue energy and slammed it into Naruto sending him over the cliff and to the running river below.
