Trish Westaway had only been young when she married her husband Tony. Maybe it was a mistake- but she had loved him, at the time. In her eyes, they were perfect for each other, and she loved him no end. She would do anything for that man- and she just knew he felt the same way.
But their marriage began to suffer, after a short twelve months. There were many times where Trish thought about leaving- but in her heart of hearts, she still loved him. One day, after the biggest argument to date, Trish knew she had to leave.
But it was the bombshell that she dropped the next day that made them both stop in her tracks. She thought she was doing the right thing, staying for their daughter. Sammy was a little princess, the only child, a little girl who loved both her parents. They tried not to fight when she was there- but, she had heard them, as she buried herself under the blankets of her bed, trying desperately hard to block out the sound.
As she grew, she became immune to her parents arguing. She was able to block out their voices, as she studied hard. Trish and Tony were under the impression they could buy her happiness- but, life was not that easy. For anyone.
As much as she loved her parents, she couldn't wait to get out of their palace. They might have hated Nathan Rafter, but Sammy loved him.
And, with their daughter out of the house, they fought even more, bringing their relationship- and marriage- to a thudding stop.
