"Wake up, Kakashi!" his mom yelled from downstairs. "Get dressed. I made pancakes!"

As Kakashi walked downstairs, Kakashi's father walked in the house, back from fishing.

"I'm back." He said as he shuts the door behind him.

Kakashi runs to hugs his dad.

"Hey, what did you make for breakfast?" he asked his wife.

"I made pancakes. Come and gets some." She said.

"So dad, how much fish did you catch?" Kakashi asked his father.

"Well, I caught 3 big fish and a small fish." He said.

"I have another mission tomorrow." His father stated.

"What! You just came home! So you when do you have to leave?" she asked her husband.

"Early tomorrow morning." He commented.

"You better be getting more money for this" she said

"I hope so" he commented

"I'm going to my room, good pancakes." Kakashi said

"Ok don't mess it up, its clean." his mom said

"Before you go upstairs, feed the dog." His father told Kakashi

"Fine." Kakashi said

After Kakashi feeds the dog he goes upstairs. Kakashi's parents talk about the mission.

"So what's this mission about?" his wife asked.

"I have to kill some spies. They are planning to destroy Konoha."

"It must be an important mission." His wife stated

13 hours later

"So you're leaving now?" his wife asked

"…yeah" he replied gloomy.

"Be safe out there." She said with a smirk.

"Look, I'm the White Fang, I got this." He said with a big grin.

Then he walks up his son and says, "I'll see you soon."

Morning

"Kakashi, wake up! Breakfast is ready." His mom shouted.

Then a messenger flies through the window.

She reads the letter. "Dear wife and son of the White Fang. Your husband and father was killed in battle earlier this morning. We will send you 5,000 ryo for your loss."

She falls to her knees and says, "Nooooo!"

Then Kakashi walks in and says, "What's wrong mom? When is dad coming home?"

"Kakashi, come and sit down. I got to talk to you."

"Mom, what is it?"

"Well dad isn't coming home." His mom said with a tear in her eye.

"Why?" said Kakashi

"Well, your father died during his mission." His mother stated.

Kakashi has a blank look on his face. "Are you serious?"

"Yes, I'm serious. Look at the letter." She hands Kakashi the letter.

Kakashi then starts to cry and throws the letter. Then he runs upstairs.

30 minutes later

His mom then walks upstairs towards her son's room.

"Kakashi…pack your stuff. We're leaving."
