Remembrance
Smiles as big as the sun was bright,
scowls as dark as a winter's night,
she remembers.
Laughter like the sweetest bells,
and tears like diamond droplets,
she remembers.
Moon full and high in the evening sky,
a crimson blaze shining in her eyes,
she remembers.
Children were lambs,
adults were lions,
she remembers.
The sky wept,
and the earth healed,
she remembers.
