Soulmate
A/N: This about my character Kodi, and my friend TL's character, Darius. I do not own the Twilight universe or Darius. Just Kodi.
Kodi's POV
I never thought anyone could love me other than my mother, who, I knew even in death, loved me more than my father did. My memories of the last nine years of my human life were erased by Vic. Anyway, I never thought anyone could love me. I'm not beautiful.
I have slight curly black hair, a pale complexion, and about 130 scars all over my body. My vampire features make me slightly beautiful. My hair is shinier, and my pale complexion is a little more paler, and my once green eyes are now a gold color. My body is curvier than it used to be, and I have the grace of a ballerina.
There are a few guys that have taken interest in my looks. My friend, Matteo, and my love, Darius. I fell in love with him after I trusted him with my whole life story. As our friendship grew stronger, we grew closer. I got hit in the stomach with a soccer ball and Darius took care of me. I've been happier since I met him.
I don't always have a dark outlook on life like I used to, I don't dress as gothic as I used to, and I'm not as self-conscious about my scars anymore. Well, not as self-conscious as I used to be anyway. You know how they say there's "the one" out there for people? Well, I've found him.
I had one boyfriend back in the 70's but, we never kissed or did anything. Just hugged. I've never felt any feelings stronger than the ones I have for Darius. I can honestly say, I can see myself married to him sometime in the future. Whether that be near future or distant. I love him and always will.
