Can I Have it, Mommy?

By me.

Somewhere, far, far away, there is a land called Spira. A land full of joy, sorrow, and death. Where the entity known as Sin ravaged the land, destroyed cities at will and terrorized the people. The most recent Calm has ended, and our intrepid summoner and her guardians have defeated Yunalesca and put an end to the Final Summoning. Now they are traveling across the globe, hoping to think of some way to defeat Sin once and for all. Setting up camp in a desolate forest, they take a break from the battles and constant running around. But something seems awry...

"Lu! It's time for dinner!"

"Be there in a second," the black mage replied.

"Well hurry up, ya?"

Lulu frantically rummaged through her inventory. "I know it's here somewhere," she muttered. After emptying it out and thumbing through each and every single item, she wheeled around and glared at her fellow guardians.

"Where is my Onion Knight?!?!" she fumed.

"Calm down, ya? It's pork! Pork tastes good with everything!" Wakka said, taking another HUGE chunk out of his pork chop.

"Man, if looks could kill..." said Tidus, somewhat afraid of Lulu.

Yuna gave Lulu an innocent expression. "Won't you join us for dinner?" she pleaded.

"I'm not touching anything until I find my Onion Knight."

Although Yuna was beginning to get a little annoyed, she couldn't blame Lulu. They HAD spent almost a week dodging lighning 200 times in a row, and it had taken its toll on their tempers. Sighing, she gave in. "Fine, go look for your doll. We'll be waiting for your return."

Meanwhile, back in Luca...

A little girl in a pink dress pulled at her mommy's hand. "But I don't WANNA go!!!" she bawled. "I wanna watch more bwitzbaw!!!"

"There's always next year, honey. Now come on, your father's already on the boat and waiting for us."

The two pushed through the crowd, getting odd glances every now and then. Suddenly, a small toy caught the girl's eye. Swiping it up as they passed it, she held it up to her mother.

"Can I keep it, Mommy?"

The mother, stressing over trying to find the port, paid no attention whatsoever. "Whatever. Now, the map says dock C is over this way... no, that's dock A. But if we go over here..." she trailed off, muttering to herself.

The girl took that as a "Yes" and cradled the Onion Knight in her arms. "I think she's angwy," she said sadly to the doll.
