A/N: My first LCDO entry. Enjoy. Dedicated to my friend Aira-chan, who provided the title. Thanks!^_^
Disclaimer: Me don't own La Corda D'oro. I could only wish..
He isn't fond of rainy days very much. On top of keeping himself and his violin out of the wet weather, and skipping his way around puddles and mud, along with the downpour comes a sense of melancholy; a mood that lingers together with the cold wind that even a couple of violin practices can not be easily remedied.
Tsukimori Len frowned.
"This is so much fun!" a certain red-haired declared, giggling softly, all the while ignoring the disapproving look her companion is giving her as she succumbed to the rainfall.
"Hino, you'll get sick."
He approached her with reprimanding steps, her umbrella of which she unceremoniously shoved at him in his hand as he took shelter with his own, and both their violins in the refuge of the shed not so far from where they are.
"Just a couple more minutes, Tsukimori. It's been ages since the last time I've done this," Hino replied in cheerful nonchalance, not even bothering to look at him as she speaks. She continued to dance under the torrent heedless of her sodden state.
He released a resigned sigh. So much for practice, he thought wistfully, swallowing his admonishment as he relented to Hino's self-indulgence.
Then, he watched her.
He watched her as she raised her head up to meet the cold drizzle with a smile, arms slightly lifted as if she was welcoming them; followed, with subtle eyes, the trail of water cascading from her face down the crook of her neck to finally settle on her already soaked uniform; observed her as a series of childish laughs echoed from her lips as she frolicked in the rain, steps skipping to the beat of the pattering rain. He shuddered not because of the cold but of the sudden urge he felt for her. The picture of her, so naïve yet sinfully lovely, makes him want to join her in her fun.
He isn't fond of rainy days very much. But if the weather allows him to take pleasure in seeing her do something innocent and amusing as bathing under the rain, then he guess getting around those puddles and mud isn't so bad after all. He could learn to love the rainy days, he thought, as he abandoned their umbrellas to join her.
Especially, rainy days with her.
