A girl in a light blue silk gown kneeled at the bottom of a great stair case; it looked as though she was sobbing.

"I'm sorry! Please forgive me! Give me a second chance, I know I messed up but I can make up for it!" a small female voice said in fear. Over that was a raspy muscular voice that could be heard by anyone who dared.

"I'm sorry my child but what you have done is the most disgraceful thing one of your kind can do. What you did caused the death of one of our own! How could you disgrace your family like this? With what you have done you shall be banished and fall to the middle world where you will become one of the people that live there and you shall forget everything that you know."

"But father it was an accident, I had not taken in account the effects of my actions. It was a horrible mistake but I can repent for it!"

"Child hush! You cannot do anything about it now. No matter how much this hurts me, my word is final and not even I can change it. You shall go to the world where very few are sent, the world that we have saved and could be ruined by one little careless act."

The area beneath the girl's feet was torn open with a thunderous crash, and she disappears into the darkness that leaked through the crack. Then it closed as if nothing had happened at all. The man who had been talking to the girl turned away and his shoulders started to shake as he fell to his knees. You could still hear the echoes of the girl's cries. Something seemed very wrong here, it all seemed so wrong.

There was ice everywhere but it didn't seem to be very cold. Very few actually went down here, but the ones who did were either extremely important or in a lot of trouble. In this case it was both. The boy who stood there looked as if he had been here many times, he almost looked as if he was comfortable standing bare footed on the floor that looked as if it could tear apart anything that it touched.

"So what did I do this time, Father? Was it letting the imps into the upper world or not feeding your dog?" the boy said in a seductively soothing voice, he then chuckled and sat on a throne that appeared to come out of thin air. Another voice rang out from all parts of the icy cave, monstrous and booming it stated,

"You know exactly what you did! You allowed that filth to enter my lands and get away with its life. Even though you know that when one of those things enter, they must never exit! We had her within our grasp and you let her get away. I may even go as far to say that you grew a certain fondness for that little angel of yours. This home that I have created for you is not a play place for those disgusting being."

"Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that. That was kinda fun, hehe. She was kind of a nice play thing, had a lot of fun with that one. She was so taunting but wouldn't give in. She was especially pretty when she ran from my room with her golden hair soaked in her brother's blood. So what's the punishment gonna be this time? Push a stone uphill? Feed the beast? Please the sisters? Or my favorite, the birds?"

"This time son your punishment will be far worse than any I have given you before. Just because you're my son doesn't mean that you can get away with breaking the biggest rule I have set. No, this time you will be sent to the land of the filth and live like one. You will be turned into one, and every time you close your eyes you will see the home that you left behind, unless you find something you deserve even less."

And like that the boy disappeared into a ring of fire that didn't scorch anything, but playfully licked at his skin instead. All that remained in the spot at which he had been was a silver medallion, which vanished into the flame a second later.

A shadow was walking near the building of Baker Street, whoever it is was trying not to be seen by others. The shadow jumped as a noise came from a nearby ally way, a cat ran out soon after. Then another noise came from the same area. The shadow started walking down it, a look of discuss on its face. The ally was dark and smelled of the pots that had been emptied form the houses above. 'Don't these people know how to use the waste systems correctly?" it thought. From the way the shadow dressed, one could tell it was a man and he didn't belong in this area, he was most likely to have been here because of an unlikely business meeting.

As the man walked on, he noticed something shining on the ground. He walked closer and saw that it was a silver medallion, lying next to the body of girl. She was completely revealed, the man could see every curve in her body, and it was so pale and untouched. She was in danger just lying there like that, somebody, anybody, could come along and take whatever virtue she might have left. So the man pulled his cloak off and drew it over her and proceeded to pick up her limp body. He then carried her out of the ally.

"It's all going to be alright, my dear. I am going to take you to my home; I shall take care of you there. And that is where you shall learn to love living and your every whim will be waited on."
