'Ello kitties! Kitsune here, and I'm going to be doing Bramblepaw123's warrior cat challenge. So, here's the first challenge! (A cat who wants to live in twolegplace instead of the forest!)
Moondust sat under the bush, her gaze drifting to the small blue den. Its grass was short and neat, and sweet smelling bushes were dotted here and there. Her paws itched to carry her to the house, but something just stopped her every time.
"Moondust, where are you?" she heard a voice call, and Moondust crouched lower to the bush. Go away, go away, and go away! She silently begged.
"It's me! Emberlight!" the cat repeated, and Emberlight started to sniff at clumps of ferns and at bushes. Moondust's paws suddenly started to tingle, as it they were ready to take off at any moment. She sniffed the air and her friend's scent drifted away.
"Finally." Moondust muttered, picking her way out of the bushes, stepping over the trailing brambles and the puddles of mud.
A loud shriek sounded from the bushes. "Moondust, I found her!"
The voice terrified Moondust, and she dashed in a random direction, right onto the thunder-path and onto the path of an oncoming silver monster. Freezing on the spot, she stared right into the glaring eyes of the monster.
With a startling shriek, Moondust was hit and whipped aside, right into the path of a two-leg. Moondust opened her mouth in a silent shriek of pain as blood pooled out of her hind leg and out of a gash in her side. She blacked out as the two-leg bent down to pick her up. The last thing she heard was a wail from Emberspark saying it's her fault and a wail from her former mentor Wolfshadow.
A week later…
Moondust lay happily on a soft cat bed, purring as she lapped up a bowl of cream. Thinking back, she remembered her life in the forest, and wanted to live in twolegplace. She had finally gotten her wish.
