Kuroninja was an interdimensional traveler from Earth-1. He had traveled to many dimensions, but after something happened on Earth-9, Kuroninja had to go there.
The universe of Earth-9 had been taken over by the Space Shogunate Jark Matter. They would place Consumarz on many planets to extract their Planesium. Jark Matter was led by Don Armage, but a warrior known as Tsurugi Otori, or Houou Soldier, claims to have defeated him in battle by sacrificing his immortality. Tsurugi needed to know how Don Armage was still alive, so he and the other Kyurangers went to get the Tokei Kyutama, which would allow them to travel to the past.
Unfortunately, things didn't go so well. Before the Orion, the spaceship of the Kyurangers, was ready to travel to the past, one of Jark Matter's Vice-Shoguns was able to control Naga, one of the Kyurangers, by promising him emotions, as Naga never used his emotions but wanted to. This resulted in Naga turning evil, and corrupting his Seiza Blaster and Hebitsukai Kyutama into the Dark Blaster and Dark Kyutama. Naga was no longer the Silent Star, Hebitsukai Silver. He was now Hebitsukai Metal.
Meanwhile, Kuroninja was under attack from a mysterious force from Earth-0, a dimension responsible for controlling the fate of the Multiverse. Kuroninja's Earth-0 counterpart warned Kuroninja about what would happen if the mysterious force kept influencing the fate of Earth-9. Kuroninja would never be able to return to Earth-9, which was something he wanted to do. Kuroninja began to attempt to restore balance to the Multiverse, especially Earth-9, but this mysterious force was almost unstoppable. Kuroninja decided to travel to Earth-9 after HebitsukaiSilver became HebitsukaiMetal, as Kuroninja's rival has traveled to the past with Houou Soldier to find out what happened to Don Armage. However, there was someone stalking Kuroninja during his attempts to restore the balance of the Multiverse.
This person looked similar to HebitsukaiMetal, and even though he was HebitsukaiMetal's counterpart in another dimension known as Earth-4, he wasn't called Hebitsukai Metal or Hebitsukai Silver. He went by the name "DSR," or "Dark Silver Ranger." For some reason, DSR was very powerful. However, Kuroninja had heard about the Dark Kyutama and how DSR was using something similar to it. The Dark Kyutama was powered by negative emotions, which meant that Kuroninja had a negative emotion that DSR used to defeat Kuroninja.
Fortunately, Kuroninja had escaped DSR and successfully arrived at the Kyuranger universe.
