A/N: Okay, Henry's about 15 here and I'm putting Peter's age around 17 or 18. This little drabble is inspired by the quote from the Chaos of the Stars: "And I'd choose you; in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I'd find you and I'd choose you." Summary: When it comes down to it, love is never really enough.

"Stay here, stay with me." Peter told him. He didn't expect for Henry to do it, of course not, like Henry didn't expect Peter to choose him over his power and immortality. Peter wasn't saying that he valued his immortality and power more than Henry, no. It might look that way… They were in the same level but he wasn't going to give them, his immortality and his powers, up for the boy, he can't. It was almost in the same situation Henry is in. Henry valued his family; he loved them more than he could ever love Peter. No matter how much power Peter possessed, it could never change the reality of Henry loving his family more than he could ever love him. "Stay please?" Peter pleaded, knowing how pathetic he sounded to others but they were practically alone.

Henry knew that Peter couldn't stay in their world; he had to be in Neverland to keep his power and immortality. "I…" Henry looked at Peter; he can't believe that Peter would ask that. It wasn't just a choice between staying and going. It would be a choice between his family and Peter. Would he be happy knowing that he can never come home to Storybrooke where his whole life was? Would he be happy knowing that he left behind someone he actually loved in a place where he can't ever come back to? "I can't." Henry shook his head, looking away from him.

Peter took a deep breath, not entirely surprised with the boy's decision. He knew what the answer will be even before he asked but there was a part of him that hoped that Henry would choose him. A very tiny part of Peter, then again, it wouldn't be Henry if that part of his were correct, now would it? "I know." Peter said. He removed the spell on the adults currently on the ground and one by one, they began to wake up. "I had to ask."

Neither spoke to the other as Henry's companions got ready to go home. They stood in a straight line, Henry allowed himself to look back at the older boy. He was able to catch his eye. Peter offered him a smile before walking towards him. He leaned down and pressed their foreheads together. He had his eyes closed and Henry couldn't help but stare at the older boy. He looked so defeated and heartbroken. It made his heart ache knowing that he caused it. "I'm sorry." Henry managed to choke out. He could feel the eyes of his family on them. "I'm sorry." Henry told him. "I wish I could stay."

"In another life, in an alternate universe." Peter told him, his eyes were still closed. Henry closed his and tried to get lost in Peter's voice one last time, imagining the situation Peter was describing to him in his mind. Their voices were just above a whisper. "In another life, where I'm just me and you're just you, we're together and happy. Nothing getting in between us but your meddlesome family."

Henry smiled and he opened his eyes to see Peter looking down at him. "We'd always find each other, don't we?" Henry asked, he didn't regret choosing his family, he was happy with his decision but a small part of his brain is thinking of the possibility if he chose otherwise. "in that alternate version of reality, we'd be together?"

"You'd choose me and I'd choose you." Peter told him, and with that, he gently pushed Henry away and the portal swallowed him and his family, bringing them back to Storybrooke.
