"Leah, I love you." Sam looks up at me.
"I love you too." I smile up at him. I haven't seen him for a while. He just returned to La Push. He went missing. I missed him dearly. He's acting weird lately though. I'm getting worried. My cousin Emily is in town, so I have to spend most of my time with her. This has been my first alone time together in a while.
"Leah, we can't be together."He said in a low voice.
"What do you mean Sam? Yes, we can." I stared into his eyes full of horror.
"I'm in love with Emily"
"Emily? What do you mean she's my cousin, and my best friend. How could you be in love with her you've only known her for a week, come on Sam, be reasonable."
"I have to go. I'm sorry. I DO love you. But I HAVE to be with Emily."
I am barely noticing the tears streaming down with eyes. He just left me. How? When? This is… just horrible.
(9 months later)
Leah, what's the matter? Seth looks up at me.
Well, let me see, we're wolves, and Sam left me for HER
Seth can't you see that HER. My cousin. I know it's been a while since that happen but it's never going to leave my thoughts.
Leah! We can't take this anymore. Jacob, jumped in. We know that you're suffering! But, Sam couldn't help it. He didn't mean to hurt you.
Jacob, why don't you go pity your love to those filthy bloodsuckers you love?
That was really low Leah. Seth told me.
CAN'T YOU GUYS EVER GIVE ME PRIVACY?
We wish! They both thought.
You guys don't understand. I thought Sam and me were going to last forever. I never thought these stupid legends my dad told us were true. But, they are…
Jacob interrupted me. And you can't do anything about it.
Ugh! Jacob! I'm leaving, don't expect me to come back.
I ran away.
I know they could ALL hear me. But, they weren't stopping me. So, I kept on running. And thought to myself…Why me? I never did anything bad. I loved Sam as much as Jacob loves Rennesme or Quil loving Claire. I couldn't stand to see Sam's face anymore. I felt like dying when I saw them together at Emily's this afternoon. She looks happy. So does he.
"Leah, come back." Jacob thought.
I didn't say anything. He's the Alpha. Of course I have to follow his orders. Great. He's having me suffer more. Or just maybe Sam still has feelings for me. Haha yeah right. This is not a fairy tale. I'm NOT going to get MY happy ending. This imprinting thing is so stupid! But you guys won't understand the only thing I'm grateful of is that I don't have to listen to Sam anymore. Thank you Jacob. BUT I'M STILL SUFFERING! My life is hell.
