I actually haven't seen or read Naruto in a long time, so I can't remember clearly. And I'm just plain out too lazy to look it up.

The masked man stared at the scene before, mixed emotions and conflicting thoughts flickering through his mind. The Yondaime Hokage and his wife were sealing the Kyuubi into their son.

He was only supposed to let the Kyuubi loose, his goal was accomplished. However, he couldn't help but stick around to see the aftermath of his actions. Seeing his former teacher and wife had reawakened emotions in him. These emotions were dangerous. They could destroy everything he worked toward. But, they looked so hopeful. They thought his son was going to be known as a hero. But, the masked man knew. People turn to hate when fear becomes too much.

Their son would never be seen as a hero or even a normal child. He would be seen and known as a demon. And the masked man thought. Maybe if he took the child with him, it could change. He could spare another life pain for a few more years until he put his plan into action.

The plan wouldn't suffer. Wouldn't it be easier this way? They needed the Kyuubi later, anyways. And with this, the effort of recapturing the Nine-tails Jinchuriki wouldn't be needed. He would already be with them.

No one was looking beyond that barrier. No one would know.

And so without looking back, the masked man took Uzumaki Naruto from his altar and fled into the night. And he definitely did not look back at his ex-mentor. Not once.

Years later, Naruto happily walked into the village hidden in the leaves with his "Nii-san". Today, he was finally going to meet his brother's best friend. They needed to make up. From today onward, his brother will no longer whine and complain about his best friend and dead-love because Naruto had finally had enough. And when Naruto was determined enough, his wishes will always come true.

Or so he thought... who knows?

Wow... this is the second most shortest one I've written. *sigh*

How was it? Rate it 1 - 10, 1 being the worst, 10 being the best!

And um... anyone willing to adopt?
