Reviewing the Situation (reprise) –For Writers
I'm reviewing all of my stories
There's a romance and some others in there too
Is it such a hard thing to fathom that we ourselves are normal people too?
For what happens when we get no sleep
What happens when we do not eat
We become unsteady on our feet
So far it's not been done to me
But what happens when it does to me?
I think I'll have to rethink my time again.
And then when I've no reviews
That's when I write something new
When you're tired and get mired in we like to can 'writer's block'
Your one consolation's the number of hits you've stocked up
I'm reviewing all of my stories
They must all be added to your favorites
Perhaps a rewrite
That word must be switched
Maybe a plot rethink will make you read; I wish
And this word can be changed to that
Or else the story shall go splat
Upon its face it shall fall flat
They'll send it out with a baseball bat
And as I follow I'll grab my hat…
I think I shall rewrite that part again!
