"What is it that you wish to speak to me about?" Asami looked into Kuriva's impassive strained face.
"I have come to see you Ms. Sato with the hopes that you will join me in my work." Kurvia's head lifted higher then before.
"And what type of work is it?" Asami's right eye brow rose.
"With Avatar Korra off in the South recovering from the fight. Republic City and the rest of the world is in vast dangerous." Kuriva folded her arms tightly across her chest. "I'm going to protect the world for Avatar Korra."
Asami stood to her feet as she placed the palms of her hands on her desk. "No you are not." She said in a quiet tone.
"Look Ms. Sato I know you are best friends with Avatar Korra and hurts you that she is hurt." Kurvia spoke in a calm and even voice. "You have to admit that even if Avatar Korra was still recovering in Republic City she would be happy to have help keeping the law and order."
Asami stood straight herself. "Please get out of my office. Our business is done here."
"I'm not asking you to travel with me; Ms. Sato … all I am asking is some …." Kuriva didn't move.
"You will get nothing from me. Now please leave." Asami sat back in her seat. "I have things that I must work on now." Her eyes never leaving those of Kuriva's above her.
Raw anger flashed through Kuriva's eyes before she managed to school them back into being impassive. "As you wish Ms. Sato." She nodded her head once before turning and leaving the office.
Asami felt trouble was brewing. She resoloved to spend some time at Air Temple Island, and make plans with Tenzin. They after all had to protect the innoncent people whom Kuriva would be walking all over as she tries to take over the world from Korra. She sighed as her eyes lowered onto her desk. She fought the tears from falling at the thought of Korra.
