Well his a short little one-shot I made after wondering why it seems nobody made it before

Disclaimer: I do not own pokemon. (If I did the Diamond & Pearl opening would either not exist or would be apologized for)

Basically the character's names are represented by real objects in this fic, i.e.:

Ash-ash

Drew-dew

Brock- big rock

In a distant land there was ash across the land. The ash had met with the misty air and the big rock. It accompanied these two across a long journey, during which he faced many rivals, including the oak his childhood rival.

However the ash eventually surpassed the oak and went on. The ash however soon had to leave the mist and the rock, as he wished to continue his journey.

The ash had eventually met a new companion, the maple which bloomed in May.

The ash and maple soon left with each other to continue the journey. Soon the ash and maple found the big rock who wished to further accompany the ash. They had yet another journey, however the maple had left to follow the dew, and the ash had again been saddened.

He had come to develop feelings for the maple, but he knew the saying "If you truly love something, set it free. If it comes back to you then its yours." The ash had then thought of the last statement and had been hoping the maple would come back.

Soon the big rock had gone also, but the ash knew he would return. The ash had went back to his home but quickly left to continue his journey. Soon it came across the big rock again. They soon found the dawn of the area, who was friendly to them and had agreed to travel with them.

The ash continued his journey yet again, however he kept feeling unclean around the dawn. Yes she was pretty, but not in a nice way, but in a lustful way. The ash hated those who tried to attract others with lust, instead of with kindness. The big rock felt similar. There journey went on for awhile, but soon like every other, it ended. The ash had finally succeeded in his goal.

The ash however felt only half-full, like there was something missing. The Ash headed home to find the maple waiting for him. The ash had now been overjoyed and knew his patience had paid off. The ash and maple had left to enjoy there time together. Finally after many years the ash and maple had settled down and were now together happily ever after…
