Disclaimer: This is my first Gravitation story, so if you want me to change anything then please tell me. I also unfortunately don't own Gravitation (Tear). My characters are Linende, Takao, Lana, Maria, Alexei, Nicholas, Tamara, Taros, Kandice and other's later on.

Three children ran around the yard of a large English mansion, the outside lit up by small patio lights lining the outside walls. Two older children sat in chairs, set up on a stoned patio, watching three younger children run about playing tag. A young brunette female ran up to the two on the patio, panting and laughing in delight at being allowed to stay up late that night.

Don't let your head rule you heart

"Ne ne, Shu-niisan, Lin-neesan. Come play tag!"

Shuichi leant down, pulling his younger sister Maiko into his lap, laughing at her delight. While he was only nine he carried a heavy burden of keeping secrets from his younger siblings and having to make sure that they behaved and stayed in line. He glanced over at his older sister, Linende, smiling at her look of contentment. She stared over the grounds, watching the other two children, Takao and Lana, twins, only 3 years old. Shuichi stood up quickly, catching his sisters attention and swinging Maiko up into the air he called to the other two.

"Come on you two. It is way past your bed time and were going to have a plane ride tomorrow aren't we?"

"Ya! Ya!"

The twins came running towards him jumping up and down, still wound up after a night outside. They'd all be leaving tomorrow, going to Japan to restart their lives. They'd be getting away from all of their fathers mistakes, his death murder really, his womanizing and his ruining their lives.

Shuichi leant down, pulling Takao up onto his shoulders while Maiko looped her arms around his neck, pulling on him. His sister Linende stooped down to pick up Lana, resting her on her hip. The two of them trudged inside, dozing children in their arms, waiting to start a new day

Shuichi looked out the window, smiling down at the shining lights of Tokyo. Here was his new beginning, their new beginning. Nothing was going to stop them from being a happy family and from finally feeling like they belonged.

"Were ready to start over Shu. Were giving them another chance."

"Hai, nee-san. I know. Now all we have to do is watch out for the others."

"Nike, Tamara, Kandy and Taro can take care of them for know. There shouldn't be too many left. We just have to keep going."

Shu smiled at Lin's optimism, he knew that she wasn't normally like this, but now that she was willing to show another side of herself. He knew that everything would be alright.

At least for now.
