Based on the song 'Good directions'by Billy Currington
Arizona POV
I take a bite of my pork rind, watching as an old, really good looking, light blue, Ford, Thunderbird pulls up. I watch as the car pulls up in front of my old ford truck. The license plate has Hollywood written on it, and I can see it's a 1957.
"Nice car" I yell out as somebody gets out of the car.
"Thanks, it's my baby" A women's voice calls back.
"Want some turnips" I ask, raising an eyebrow.
She's stunning. Latino, long legs, great curves.
"I'll buy a few if you can tell me how to get to the interstate" She chuckles.
"You lost" I ask.
"No, I'm just acting so I can stop and talk to you" She winks, chuckling.
"I'd do that" I wink back.
She blushes, making her even more beautiful.
"Way up yonder past the caution light, there's a little country store with an old Coke sign, You gotta stop in and ask Miss Bell for some of her sweet tea, then a left will take you to the interstate, but a right, will bring you right back here to me" I say with a smile.
"Thanks" She smiles, getting back in her car and leaving just as quickly as she came.
I watch her car slowly fade away.
"Shit" I mumble.
She was beautiful and I didn't even get her name. It could have been love, I did feel the sparks fly. This truck couldn't get her now, too much distance. Probably doesn't like me any how.
Callie POV
I chuckle as I pull in the little country store's parking lot, the cute old Coke sign hanging. I get out of my car and walk in.
"Hello dear" A older lady greets me from behind the counter.
"Hi" I smile at her.
"Can I help you with anything" She asks politely.
"Are you Miss Bell" I ask, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes I am" She smiles.
"The women selling turnips on the truck told me to stop in and get some sweet tea from you" I chuckle, walking over to the counter.
"Oh Arizona" She asks, raising an eyebrow.
"I didn't get a name from her" I say.
"Blonde? Blue eyes" She asks.
"Yeah, she looked good" I say, her picture coming back in my mind.
"If I give you a big ol' glass will you go back and talk to her" She asks, a smirk.
"Maybe" I smirk.
I guess that satisfy's her, because she pulls out a glass and pours me some sweet tea.
After talking for a bit I politely hit the road again. I get to the turn and take a right.
Arizona POV
"No way" I mumble.
I watch as the light blue Thunderbird pulls up next to my truck again and the women of my dreams steps out of the car.
"You're gay right" She asks, walking over to me.
"Yeah, why" I ask, not moving.
"Single" She raises an eyebrow, less than a foot away.
"Yeah" I say, locking eyes with her.
Oh my god, how did I not see her eyes before. The are so beautiful. I don't even like the color brown, but these eyes, they are just perfect. The warmth in her eyes are all I need to be completely smitten with her.
"Good" She says.
With that she leans down and kisses me.
From Hollywood, and she kisses like it. I mean magical. Lips so soft. My eyes close as I kiss back. Her hands go to the sides of my face, so I put mine on her waist, pulling her closer. She pulls away, resting her forehead against mine. I open my eyes and meet her dark ones.
"I would have been rude to do that if you were taken" She says with a smile.
