A WOMAN OF GRACE:
THE PHANTOM OF PAIN:
Hey everyone. This is another one of my Sly Cooper poems. Sly professes his love for Carmelita in the best way he can.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Her words are bitter, but her eyes are sweet;
Her life is a mess, but her appearance is neat.
She's different from me,
From species to race,
But that matters not when she's a woman of grace.
Her blue hair matches her dark-colored eyes,
And she's not good at telling little white lies.
She's different from me,
From species to race,
But that matters not when she's a woman of grace.
Although she never shows it,
Both she and I know it:
Our feelings for each other exist.
And although she denies it,
She cannot ever hide it:
Her beauty is simply first class.
She's different from me,
From species to race,
But that matters not when she's a woman of grace.
